570+ Israeli Websites Hacked & Defaced By Hitcher of Muslim Liberation Army (#OpIsrael)

Couple of days ago Anonymous called Operation Israel while protesting against the brutal attack on Gaza. In the beginning Anonymous hacked the Israeli Defense Force and few other Israeli websites. But now its going bad to worse for Israel, as several hackers from different part of the world have taken part in this protest. It was the well known Pakistani hacker named Hitcher who rises his voice against injustice and inhumane, while defacing more than 570 Israeli websites. The hacker clearly stated the reason behind this attack and that is "The hack is done against the protest against Gaza attack by Israelis they are killing innocent children and women..." -said Hitcher. In the deface page the hacker also tried to gave message while saying "Gaza will never defeated, Israel will be defeated..." This attack of Hitcher was done under the banner of a very popular hacker collective group named Muslim Liberation Army also known as MLA. As expected the hacker has also created the deface mirror of those hacked sites, which can be found on th3mirror.com.  And also while talking about Hitcher and Israel, then we must have to remind you that few months ago Israel Ministry of Finance Unit (Lehava) & Amitec top IT innovative company of Israel was also hacked by Hitcher. Those hack was also driven by the case of Free Palestine.

#OpIsrael: Anonymous Hacked Israeli Defense Force & 40 Other Israeli Sites While Protesting Gaza Attacks

So far the world have seen an instance of cruelty and inhumane of Israeli army, where the people of Gaza have been tortured brutally. The peace loving people across the world have already stood against this relentless practice. Earlier we have seen many times, where hackers around the globe protested against this implacable practice of Israeli defense.  But so far it was mainly hacker collective from Pakistan who was mainly fighting for the Gaza cause, dubbed Freedom For Palestine (#OpFreePalestine), yesterday the dangerous & mysterious hacktivist group Anonymous joined the campaign. This Thursday Anonymous released a manifesto, vowing revenge on Israel for an escalating offensive in Gaza. The group's new campaign named Operation Isreal (#OpIsrael) comes after rumors that Israeli forces would shut down telecommunications in Gaza, including the internet. OpIsrael started with a series of attacks where Anonymous went on a spree of website defacement and takedown, while calling their members to flood forty sites with junk web traffic designed to knock them offline and defacing websites including the privacy firm Israeli Security Academy and a blog the group described as belonging to the Israeli Defense Forces. “We Anonymous will not sit back and watch a cowardly Zionist State demolish innocent people’s lives.” reads one message posted to a defaced site, along with an image of smoke rising over what appears to be a Palestinian city. Another message on a hacked site attributes the attack to Pakistani Anonymous hackers: “The people of Pakistan are always supporting the brave people of Gaza, we love you!” 
Here we would like to remind you, that in 2011, members of Anonymous threatened to engage cyber attack against Israel, while protesting the same issue. That time also Israeli Defense Force was shutdown by  Anon. 
Anonymous Twitter accounts provided links to what they described as an Anonymous Gaza Care Package with tools for staying online if Israel cuts Internet service the Gaza Strip during its military action. Another hacker group, Telecomix, provided its own detailed instructions in English and Arabic for using dial-up connections, a technique it first suggested during the Egyptian Internet outage surrounding the Arab Spring protests there last year.

DRDO, National Innovation Council, RAC & PM Adviser's Websites Hacked By Algerian Hackers

Couple of high profile Indian Government websites faced cyber attack. Where hackers from Algeria targeted the official website of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) & Sam Pitroda, advisor to Prime Minister on Information Technology. According to Govt sources the above two website came under massive cyber attacks on last Wednesday night, Even that attack lead them to shutdown their normal service for certain time. Hackers group calling them selves 'SanFour25' & 'Algerian Hackers' took responsibility of the hack. On the other hand the website of National Innovation Council, along with the Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC) was hacked a day before he was to organize a two day global innovation conference. Here also the hacker has been identified as SanFour25. DRDO website was down for nine long hours after the hack. Later all those sites came back online as usual. "After checking the websites, these were restored," a source said, adding that the information contained by these websites is already in the public domain. "There are no secrets on these websites," they stressed.
“On 30 October 2012, suspicious activity was noticed on the National Informatics Server hosting the website. The NIC, as a precautionary measure, therefore temporarily blocked access to the server hosting the RAC website and restored it next day," DRDO said in a release on Thursday.

Several Bangladeshi Govt Sites Along With Uninor Bangladesh & Few College Sites Hacked By Sen Haxor

After a long time yet again Bangladeshi cyber fence is facing cyber attacks from India. This time a young Indian hacker named Sen Haxor targeted several high profile Bangladeshi websites. Among them there are four Bangladeshi Govt sites which have fallen victim to this cyber attack. Those sites are National Mushroom Development & Extension Centre, Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC), Govt. Bangla College & Rangpur Zonal Settelment Official Web-portal. Not only Govt website, also the hacker hit  the official website of many Bangladeshi Colleges and defaced the index page. Those colleges are Comilla Victoria Govt. College, Shaikh Burhanuddin Post Graduate College, Ashuganj Sar Karkhana College, CHITTAGONG MODEL SCHOOL & COLLEGE, Birganj College & Panchbari Mahabiddyalay. The story is not over yet, in this phase of cyber attack also penetrated Uninor Bangladesh GPCIC. In a pastebin note the hacker has released the full database, including usernames, password hash & other several login credentials. Though the reason of this hack is not relevant but still in the deface page the hacker represented this hack as a payback of the last Indo-BD cyber war which took place in February this year.

#OpPhilippines -Anonymous Hacked & Defaced Several Philippine Govt Sites 

When the topic or act of Internet surveillance or Internet privacy rises its head, every time the Hacktivist group Anonymous stand against it. Earlier the world seen not only Anonymous but also hackers from different of the world joined in the protest against controversial act like SOPA, PIPA, ACTA or CISPA. Quit similar scenario happens to Philippines, as soon as the anti-cybercrime law get passed, immediately hackers shown a massive protest against it. The cyber fence of Philippine was heavily disturbed since Wednesday. At the very first stage of the attack the hacker group calling themselves "Anonymous Philippines" targeted several government, civil society and other private websites of Philippine and defaced them. This ongoing cyber attack against Philippine have been dubbed as Operation Philippine (#OpPhilippines)


As of Wednesday midnight, the website of Bangko Sentralng Pilipinas, Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System, the American Chamber of Commerce, and the Philippine Anti-Piracy Team succumbed to the cyber-attacks. The websites of the anti-smoking campaign unit of the Department of Health and think tank Institute for Development and Econometric Analysis followed suit, bringing to six the number of websites attacked. One hactivist announced the challenge to commit cyber-crime in social networking site Facebook by a user #pR.isOn3r.  The post hinted in its footnote that the BSP website was a target.

“Challenge Accepted,” the hacktivist said. “If speaking up against idiocy in government and unconstitutional amendments is a crime, then I am PROUD TO BE A CYBER CRIMINAL.”
“We are anonymous. We are Legion. United as one. Divided by none,” the hacktivist said. “The corrupt fear us. The honest support us. The heroic join us. Expect us.”

This attack followed by few more Govt sites and they are- National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), Philippine Information Agency (PIA) and the Food Development Center sites. 


Message of the Hacker on Deface Page:- 
“This domain name associated with GOV.PH has been seized pursuant to an order issued by Anonymous Philippines,
“A federal grand jury has indicated several individuals and entities allegedly involved in the operation of this website / department / office charging them with the following federal crimes: Conspiracy, Violations of Human Rights, Corruption, Copyright infringement, Money Laundering, PIRACY, Misuse of Devices, Libel, Plagiarism, and Destruction of Freedom of Speech.”



The attack is yet not over, The government portal of  Philippine also faced cyber attack. A twitter account which is recognized as one of of legitimate of source of hacker collective anonymous, took responsibility of engaging denial of service (DoS) attack against www.gov.ph

The Hacker News [THN] Hacked Pakistani Hacker Shadow008 Claimed Responsibility 

After remaining silent for a long time infamous Pakistani hacker code-named from Shadow008 Pak Cyber Army (PCA) strikes again. This time he targeted famous security news blog -The Hacker News. Shadow008 has claimed to hack and deface one of the sub-domain of The Hacker News. The hacker created a deface mirror on Zone-H, which clearly showing that http://direct.thehackernews.com/ was hacked. But the mirror in still not verified, and also the sub-domain which the hacker claimed to breach is not opening. The Hacker News authority has yet not confirmed anything about the breach. Earlier in 2011 another Pakistani hackers group named Pakleets had hacked theevilhackerz.com which was one of the site of The Hacker News Owner, Mr. Mohit Kumar. After one year, another attack on Mohit Kumar's site is indicating that hackers from Pakistan are bit disappointed of THN or Mohit Kumar. Also the message on deface page is stating the same picture

As per our information this the first time, when a hacker targeted hacker news blog, which is not at all  expected. The main aim of cyber security media, like us is to stand for hackers and spread their message. But if hackers started to attack their own medias then, definitely a big doubt about hacker's unity arises. We urges all our friends and readers to maintain the unity, expect hitting each other for publicity.  

Update:- The Hacker News authority just confirmed the breach, in the facebook profile Hacker News owner, Moit Kumar said "Okay ! So Paki Hackers use my unused subdomain DNS entry to park a site on blogger and put some message for me.." So now there is no doubt that, indeed Shadow008 has hacked & defaced the sub-domain of Hacker News.

Philips Sub-domain Hacked, Database Stolen & User Information Leaked  

Dutch technology giant Philips have fallen victim to hackers. Philips Electronics said it shut down one of its servers on Monday because of a possible cyber attack. A couple of hackers known as Bch195 and HaxOr managed to get access on Philips server and defaced one of Philips' sub-domain.
The above screen-shots, is clearly showing that those hackers have uploaded a php shell on Philips server, which lead them to deface the sub-domain, as shown below.  

As per sources the hackers not only breached the server, but also leaked few SQL databases containing data such as user IDs, names, email addresses, country names, and occupations. From another part of the database the hackers allegedly managed to obtain 200,000 email addresses which they plan on selling. One of the databases, fortunately containing fewer than 400 records, has passwords stored in plain text.
Philips spokesman Steve Klink couldn't confirm whether any personal customer information or sensitive company data were put at risk. "It isn't prudent to make any statements until we've gotten to the bottom of this and completed the investigation," said Klink. The Dutch consumer electronics, lighting and healthcare group issued a short statement on its website on Tuesday stating that some of its small websites used for marketing might have been hacked on Monday. Philips said within an hour of becoming aware of the event, the compromised server was shut down. Immediately after this hack, Philips started investigating the nature and extent of the information that might have been accessed. 
Not only Philips,  In the last few months we have been a slew of attacks against the following sites: Yahoo, LinkedIn,eHarmony, Android Forums, Formspring, Gamigo, Nvidia and  Blizzard.

Reuters Hacked Again With Hoax of Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal Death 

Yet again Reuters have fallen victim to cyber criminals. A week ago blogging platform of Reuters was compromised and a false interview with a Syrian rebel leader was posted by the hacker on a Reuters' journalist's blog. This time also the same story repeats, this the second time in a single month, which immediately rises questions about Reuters' security concern. A report appeared on the Reuters blog, stating that Saudi Arabia's foreign minister Saud al-Faisal had passed away. The information was phony and the handiwork of hackers who had happily chipped away at Reuters' security system. The false report was immediately deleted. The entire blogs.reuters.com platform remained temporarily down again till Thursday (Aug. 16), later it was restored and came back to its general format. 
Reuters confirmed the attack while saying- "Reuters.com was a target of a hack on Tuesday. Our blogging platform was compromised and a fabricated blog post saying Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal had died was illegally posted on a Reuters journalist's blog on Reuters.com"
According to experts Reuters had been running the WordPress 3.1.1 version software, instead of the latest 3.4.1 version. It has been indicated that the older version of WordPress has a minimum of 20 reported vulnerabilities."Wordpress and its plug-ins are often targeted by attackers as the wide proliferation of the software makes it a target that provides a lot of bang for the buck for exploit developers," said Marcus Carey of Rapid7. "the blame lies with site owners and administrators who fail to keep up with patches. While updating software is a basic step, there is evidence of a lack of execution in this area." -Carey added

After remaining silent for a certain of time an Indian hacker code named "Mahesh Haxor" from a newly formed hacker group named "k9 Network cyber army" strikes again. This time he targets the official website of Orissa Cricket Association (OCA). As per sources the hacker managed to get access on the OCA server and uploaded is deface page. But did not deface the main index page. Though the main reason of this hack is still known. As expected the hacker has also created a deface mirror on hack-db. The attack took place on yestreday late night; the time when we are writing the news, the hacker still managed to keep is access on the server and still the deface page is there. This indeed rises question about the securicty conecrn of Orissa Cricket Association. We also want to give you reminder that near about two months ago this hacker Mahesh Haxor has hacked and defaced the official website of West Bengal State University & IIMM Pune.

Anonymous Hacked Trinamool Congress Website & Posted A Fake Message

Just few hours before the 66th Independence day of India, the official website of AITMC- All India Trinamul Congress, current ruling party of West-Bengal get hacked and the Archive page which records important announcements made by chief minister of West Bengal & Party Chairman Mamata Banerjee get defaced. Infamous hacker collective group Anonymous took responsibility of this hack. 
One of the hacker announced the hack publicly on twitter while saying- "At last a world leader listens to anonymous and decides to make great changes Mamata Banerjee Confesses : aitmc.org/chairperson_ar… WE LOVE DIDI". As per sources the hacker broke into the TMC's server, gained access on the website and posted a fake announcement :-
“I AM A MAOIST at heart and  always have been, It always pained me to speak and act against the ideology that I myself loved so much. I also appologize to the people whom I have hurt, The artist who tried to speak the truth, the writers who saw the right thing and every and any person who  tried to tell me I was going in the wrong direction, I am at your feet asking you to forgive me for the misguided acts I have done In life,”

Team VOGH took the above screen shot was taken from TMC's website, at the time when it was hacked. 
The hacker group also made the effort of giving a link to a morphed image of Mamata Banerjeeand a link to another document. For privacy reason we can't mention the link here. Trinamool's cyber team removed the offensive post within few minutes. According to the party's spokes man -"TMC website was hacked at 7.30 pm and detected within six minutes by the party's cyber team that works round-the-clock , updating the site every 15 minutes." Also the Party have lodged a complaint, immediately after the mishap. 
This hack is not the very first attack on TMC, earlier in this year (At the time of Indo-BD Cyber-War)  Bangladeshi hackers have hacked and defaced the index page of TMC's official website. We would also like to give you reminder that, Mamata Banerjee is not the first victim, In 2011Pak Hacker named KhantastiC haXor penetrated the official site of Indian Congress and defaced the Profile page of Party President Sonia Gandhi.  Also few other Pakistan hackers in early 2011 have hacked the official website of All India Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and so on.

HP Training Center Official Website Hacked & Defaced 
Official website of Hewlett Packard Training center also known as HP training center get hacked. Here again well-known Pakistani hacker known to as 'Hitcher' from a hacker collective group named Pak Cyber Force (PCF) took responsibility of this hack. His last hack take down the official website of NIOS, and here also he followed the same mechanism & that is in-spite of having full privilege on the HP server, the hacker did not harm the main index. He just uploaded his deface page as shown in the above picture. This hack also compromised three sub-domain of HP among them there are Designjet - Sales Training and Development Center, HP Indigo Training Center & one more. As expected Hitcher has also created deface mirror on Zone-Hack. This cyber attack took place yesterday & still the deface page uploaded by the hacker exist on the web-server. Such kind of carelessness or irresponsibility is not at all expected from a company like HP. Hitcher is widely known for defacing high profile websites, his last few high profile hack was Bank of Punjab, Kingfisher Airlines, Central Statistical Agency of Ethiopia & 100+ Chinese Govt Websites. The hacker's message on the deface page is clearly indicating that the hack was motivated due the cause of Palestine. Though it is not clear that why he targeted HP, because there is no relation between HP and the inhuman torture in Palestine. 

Message of the Hacker:-

You the Zionist Government of Israel have been murdering thousands and thousands of innocent Palestinian people for years and enough is enough! Thomson Reuters has confirmed the Reuters News blogging platform was compromised and a false interview with a Syrian rebel leader was posted on a Reuters' journalist's blog. "Reuters.com was a target of a hack on Friday," the company said in a statement. "Our blogging platform was compromised and fabricated blog posts were falsely attributed to several Reuters journalists." The phony interview was with Riad al-Assad, the head of the Free Syrian Army, who apparently said his forces were pulling back from the northern province of Aleppo after repeated battles with the Syrian Army. As far as we know, this is completely false, Reuters did not carry out such an interview and the posting has been deleted." -the Reuters statement said. So far Thomson Reuters had no immediate information on who was behind the hacking. While Reuters confirmed the hack, the firm said it does not yet have any information on the party responsible for the fake news. The publication took down its blogging platform on Friday to fix the problem. 
According to a report of Zdnet -The ongoing massive uprising in Syria began in January 2011, as part of the wider Arab Spring. The opposition is dominated by Sunni Muslims, whereas the leading government figures are Alawite Muslims. Protesters are demanding the resignation of President Bashar al-Assad, want to overthrow his government, and are looking to end nearly five decades of Ba'ath Party rule. In response, the Syrian government has deployed the Syrian Army, resulting in the death of more than 10,000 civilians and soldiers. Many more have been injured, and tens of thousands of protesters have been imprisoned.

Official Website of NIOS-National Institute of Open Schooling Hacked By Hitcher 

After remaining silent for couple of months, here again well-known Pakistani hacker known to as 'Hitcher' from a hacker collective group named Pak Cyber Force (PCF) strikes. Hitcher is widely recognized for targeting and defacing high profile sites such as Govt, Bank, IT, University and so on. This time also he caught a big fish. The official website of World's largest Open Schooling system, widely known to us as The National Institute of Open Schooling (often abbreviated as NIOS, NOS or National Open School) get hacked. According to resources the hacker managed to get access on the web-server, and thus he manipulated the three domains of NIOS. In-spite of having full privilege, the hacker did not harm the main index. He just uploaded his deface page as shown in the picture. This cyber attack took place yesterday & still the deface page injected by the hacker exist on the web-server. We can conclude while predicting NIOS authority either overlooked the whole matter or else, they are still very careless in cyber-security.

Brief About NIOS:- The National Institute of Open Schooling (often abbreviated as NIOS, NOS or National Open School), is the Board of Education for open schools in India. It was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India in 1989 to provide education inexpensively to remote areas. The NIOS is a national board that administers examinations for Secondary and Senior Secondary examinations of open schools similar to the CBSE and the CISCE. It had a cumulative enrollment of about 1.5 million students from 2004–2009 at Secondary and Senior Secondary levels and enrolls about 350,000 students annually which makes it the largest open schooling system in the world.

11 Indian Government Website Hacked & Infected With Malware By DaiLexX (KSC)

Hackers targeted the server of Mizoram Government and defaced more than ten gov.in domains hosted on that server. An Albanian hacker code named "DaiLexX" from a newly formed hacker community named "Kosova Security Crew" took responsibility of this hack. As per sources, the hacker managed to get access on that server and defaced the index page of eleven Indian government websites including official website of Agriculture, Prison, Tender, Social welfare, Land revenue and few more sites of Mizoram Government. Many of the deface pages showing malware warning which clearly indicates that the hacker has injected some kind of malicious codes & virus on his page as well as in the server. The appropriate reason of this hack is unknown though the message of the hacker on the deface page is saying "Protected by Kosova Security Crew, It is protected not hacked :) don't hate me..." 
As per my view this message is completely irrelevant as he not only defaced the index page but also infected those with malware.  The list of all the hacked sites, deface mirrors & hacker's message can be found on a pastebin release by the hacker.

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Hacked By Over-X 

Once again United Nations faced cyber attack, this time an hacker code named "Over-X" has hacked into the server of UNDP- United Nations Development Programme and uploaded his page. Still the reason of this hack is unknown, but according to the sources the hacker belongs to some Algerian hackers community. Also there is probability that he might be linked with infamous Anonymous. As expected Over-X have also created a deface mirror and that can be found on Arab-Zone. We would also like to refresh your memory while saying that earlier in 2011 and also in 2102 United Nations faced massive cyber attacks. It was hacker collective TeaMp0isoN with Anonymous who breached the server of United Nation & stolen thousands of  user names and passwords, that operation was dubbed #OpRobinHood. After that La Intrusa (Indian Hacker) hit United Nations Public Administration Network (UNPAN) and uploaded his page. Few months later another hacker named Casi targeted United Nation and dumped the database. If you dig the history you will find more attacks on UN.

Israel Ministry of Finance Unit (Lehava) Hacked By Hitcher To Protest Against Mr.Badoo's Arrest By FBI

The official website of Governament of Israel's Ministry of Finance Unit (Lehava) get hacked. According to sources a Well-known Pakistani hacker code named Hitcher from a hacker collective group Pak Cyber Force (PCF) was behind this attack. Though the hacker did not change the index page but he managed to gain access on the Lehava's web-server and uploaded his page which is clearly showing the reason of this hack. The hacker has also created a deface mirror on Zone-Hack. We also like to give you reminder that earlier in this year Hitcher also hacked Amitec- one of the top IT innovative company of Israel. 

Message of the Hacker:- 

"Site is Defaced In Protest of Ali Hassan aka Mr.Badoo Arrested By FBI 
His Chargers was hacking into PC of Andy who create any event of drawing Prophet Muhammad’s(SAW).
He hacked Andy account and remove that event from facebook
His Protest of Hack was Postive Just to Stop That events and His Message was clear That Respect each other and Each other Religion Too He neither Public Andy Data and personal info ..."

Hitcher also vows to engage more cyber attack while saying "This Hack is just A Protest We want Him Free, and Its Just a trailer..". Hitcher is widely known for defacing high profile websites, Here I am mentioning a few of  his activities & high profile hack wasOfficial website of one of KingFisher Airline, United Bank of India, IDBI Paisabuilder, Central Statistical Agency of Ethiopia & 100+ Chinese Govt Websites & many more.

West Bengal State University & IIMM Pune Hacked By Mahesh (k9 Network Cyber Army)

An Indian hacker code named "Mahesh Haxor" from a newly formed hacker group named "k9 Network cyber army" has successfully hacked and defaced one of domain of West Bengal State University and few other websites of educational institute in India among them The Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM) Pune also get defaced. The hacker not only defaced the index page but also manged to maintain access on that particular server for a decent time. The time when we are writing the news the home page of those sites are still showing the hacker's message. List of all the hacked sites can be found on a pastebin release by Mahesh Haxor. The reason of this hack is still unknown.

A hacker from Pakistan codenamed D0m has targeted several Indian Government websites. He managed to get access inside the web-server of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (Govt. of India) and defaced the index page of more than 22 websites hosted on that particular server. The game is yet not over the hacker also hacked & defaced one website of NIC (Kendriya Vidyalaya Eklinggarh,Udaipur). This NIC domain is still unavailable, but the authority has removed the hacker's page from the server. But still several websites of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is defaced. As per sources it has confirmed that "D0m" belongs to infamous hacker's community named Pakistan Cyber Army. The list of all those hacked sites with deface mirror can be found on a pastebin note.

WHMCS Forum Get Hacked & Defaced By 1337 (Pakistani Hacker)

WHMCS, the popular client management billing platform used by a number of web hosting providers faced the wrath of hackers on Monday. After facing website downtime, WHMCS Developer Matt confirmed the breach via the company’s forums late last night. A Pakistani hacker code named "1337" managed to get access on the server and defaced the index page of WHMCS forum. As expected the hacker has also created a deface mirror on Zone-H. But the authority completely deny that they have security hole on the server. WHMCS laid the blame on what it referred to as a “social engineering attack.” WHMCS has handed over the investigation to the FBI.
It has also been reported that the official site of WHMCS had been  facing denial of service attack since last few days. Operation was carried out by hacking group UGNazi and succeeded in leaking data pertaining to 500 thousand user accounts. Another report from stated that the data totaled 1.7 gigabytes. Earlier this Pakistani hacker was responsible for the hack of world's largest warez forum.
