FBI Partner InfraGard Hacked Again By #Anonymous (#FFF)

FBI Partner InfraGard Hacked Again By #Anonymous (#FuckFBIFriday
It seems that this week #FuckFBIFriday rampage of Anonymous is really on the high node. In this week #FFF they have given two big boom. The 1st one was the hack of US Prison Contractor Site and the second one is FBI affiliated InfraGard. Earlier Lulzsec hit the InfraGard  and they breached the digital security perimeter surrounding the Atlanta chapter of Infragard, took complete control of the site, defaced it and leaked the local user base. So this is the second time when InfraGard became the target of Hactivist. According to AnonymousIRC twitter "#FFF FBI-INFRAGARD ROOTED AGAIN. ONE MORE TIME. FOR THE LULZ. infragard.dayton.oh.us #Anonymous #AntiSec #LulzSec #OWS"
The message on the deface page was saying - "Today we targeted the Dayton Ohio chapter of InfraGard, the sinister alliance between law enforcement, corporations, and white hat wannabees. We broke into their webserver, perused their assorted presentation materials, and finally deleted everything and vandalized their website so we can boost our zone-h rankings..."
So for #FFF the list of victims are increasing, in the last Friday they have breached the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Server and hacked the official website of U.S. Federal Trade Commission, consumer rights, & National Consumer Protection Week. Also one week before for Friday rampage Anonymous released sensitive conference call between FBI & Scotland Yard. Now the name of US Prison Contractor & Infragard are also enlisted.

Google Is Planning To Bring Android Operating System Onto The Desktop

Google Is Planning To Bring Android Operating System Onto The Desktop
Earlier in this week we have covered that Canonical has announced a new product called Ubuntu for Android that will bring the popular Linux distribution to high-end Android smart phones. Now in a move that's essentially a mirror image of Canonical's announcement, it appears Google is planning to bring its Android mobile operating system onto the desktop. “Android is headed for the desktop and today's report lays out Google's specific work on trackpad operations corresponding to touchscreen events,” wrote Patently Apple's Jack Purcher in a Wednesday special report Google and Intel are already collaborating on a project to adaptAndroid for x86 architectures and several other related efforts. Also, it has been observed that both the mobile and desktop computing worlds are gradually converging. Owing to this, operating systems are rapidly taking a multiscreen approach. One such instance has already been seen with Windows 8 and its Metro interface.

Cyber Fraud -A Russian Get Busted in U.S. & Have To Face 142 Years Of Imprisonment

Cyber Fraud -A Russian Get Busted in U.S. & Have To Face 142 Years Of Imprisonment
Yet Again another cyber fraud issue. Here the suspect is Vladimir Zdorovenin of Russia, who was charged in the United States with cyber fraud, hacking into bank accounts and defrauding U.S. citizens of hundreds of thousands of dollars. According to the Russian Legal Information Agency Zdorovenin agreed to plead guilty of criminal conspiracy and online fraud. Meanwhile, he denies having committed other crimes. Zdorovenin was detained in Zurich on March 27 upon U.S. prosecutors' request. He was extradited to New York and charged on eight counts, including hacking into U.S. bank accounts, stealing personal client data and defrauding clients of "hundreds of thousands of dollars."
A criminal case against Zdorovenin and his son Kirill was initiated in 2007. Kirill's whereabouts are unknown. Southern District attorney Preet Bharara maintains that the two men committed fraud as of 2005 from Russia via bogus websites. The prosecution maintains it has evidence, including outdoor surveillance, and e-mails and testimonies from an informer whose name will not be disclosed. The court will hold the next hearing on May 21. Zdorovenin faces up to 142 years in prison. The Foreign Ministry has stated that Zdorovenin's case is yet another attempt by the United States to enforce U.S. legislation on Russian citizens.

In this week #FuckFBIFriday rampage Hactivist Anonymous blown the official website of The Geo Group, a major US prison contractor. One of the official twitter a/c of Anonymous tweeted this news and took responsibility of this cyber attack. Anonymous subgroup #Antisec took credit for defacing The Geo Group website home page. After the site the site was immediately sent offline and later it was kept under construction, today morning the site came back to its original format. The hacker also created a deface mirror on Zone-H
Earlier for #FFF in the last Friday they have breached the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Server and hacked the official website of U.S. Federal Trade Commission, consumer rights, & National Consumer Protection Week. ‎pcAnywhere Exploit- More Than 200,000 Windows PCs Can Be Hijacked

pcAnywhere Exploit More Than 200,000 Windows PCs Can Be Hijacked
According to a researcher hackers have made pcAnywhere hackers exploiting bugs in the Symantec software which can hijack as many as 200,000 systems connected to the Internet. Also Rapid7 developer of Metasploit confirmed that an estimated 150,000-to-200,000 PCs are running an as-yet-unpatched copy of the Symantec software, and are thus vulnerable to be hijacked by remote attacks, which could commandeer the machine's keyboard and mouse, and view what's on the screen. This bug has been found just after Symantec took the unprecedented step of telling pcAnywhere users to disable or uninstall the program because attackers had obtained the remote access software's source code. According to an exclusive report of Computer World-
Credit Card Data at Risk:-
About 2.5% of those vulnerable Windows PCs, or between 3,450 and 5,000 systems, are running a point-of-sale system - Windows PCs are often paired with cash registers by small businesses - potentially putting credit card data at risk, said HD Moore, chief security officer at Rapid7.
Moore reached those conclusions by scanning the internet for the TCP port the software leaves open for incoming commands, running more targeted scans for evidence of the remote access software, then using the number of programs that identify themselves as older than the patched editions to estimate the extent of the problem.
Some of the computers returned queries with replies consistent with specific point-of-sale software, Moore said. Point-of-sale software often relies on pcAnywhere for remote support, not for transmitting credit card data, but by exploiting pcAnywhere, a cybercriminal could control the machine and easily harvest the information. "These point-of-sale systems are an attractive target for break-in," said Moore.
Exploitable Bugs:-
DoS attacks can sometimes be leveraged to execute remote code. The source code leak also ups the risk to pcAnywhere users, Moore maintained, even though Symantec has patched some flaws. With the source code at their disposal and the software's problems highlighted in the media, researchers on both sides of the law will spend time looking for vulnerabilities, he said. And some of that research may result in new, exploitable bugs.
An anonymous researcher has already published findings from his examination of the pcAnywhere source code. Although his description on the InfoSec Institute website did not claim any new vulnerabilities, he noted that the source code also revealed the workings of LiveUpdate, the Symantec service used to update much of its software, including its consumer antivirus programs, such as Norton Antivirus. "We now know how their LiveUpdate system works thanks to the included architecture plans and full source code," said the researcher. Symantec did not immediately reply to a request for comment on Moore's research or Norman's DoS proof-of-concept.

Anonymous Message To NSA- They Are Not Targeting U.S. Power Grid

Anonymous Message To NSA- They Are Not Targeting U.S. Power Grid
Few days ago Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology found vulnerability on  U.S. power grid cyber security system. Yesterday General Keith Alexander The head of the National Security Agency suspected that hackers from Anonymous are going to exploit the vulnerability & shutdown the entire U.S. Power Grid. Later Anonymous responded while releasing You Tube video where they have clearly stated that they are not going to hit US Power grid because thousands of people rely on electricity for everything they do; hospitals even need this electricity to save lives, and taking out the power grid would cause harm to the very people we (Anonymous) wish to protect. There is no valid reason for us to shut down the power grid, as far as we are aware. Any such predictions by the various government, security, and intelligence organizations are likely attempts to instill fear into those that don't understand this, and to discredit Anonymous as a whole.

Anonymous Message to the NSA:-
"Greetings NSA,
We are Anonymous.
Your statement regarding the potential future sabotage of power grids by Anonymous, disgusts us to the core, as it is clearly an attempt at fear mongering. The idea that Anonymous would shut down one of the most vital resources for it to operate, is ludicrous.
While security and intelligence organizations throughout the world attempt to depict Anonymous as a 'terrorist organization', many people understand that this same subset of Anonymous they speak of, is actually a movement for freedom. This appears to scare government organizations, to the point where they might do anything in an attempt to discredit Anonymous, and make people believe Anonymous exists solely to harm innocent people.
Are these claims and predictions an attempt to falsely accuse Anonymous of something that will happen in the future - maybe even being orchestrated by the same government organizations that are now already blaming Anonymous? Many people have warned about the sad state of the power grid infrastructure in the past, but why would we shut down our own computers and other communication tools?
Thousands of people rely on electricity for everything they do; hospitals even need this electricity to save lives, and taking out the power grid would cause harm to the very people we wish to protect.
There is no valid reason for us to shut down the power grid, as far as we are aware. Any such predictions by the various government, security, and intelligence organizations are likely attempts to instill fear into those that don't understand this, and to discredit Anonymous as a whole.
We are Anonymous.
We are legion.
We do not forgive.
We do not forget.
For once don't expect us."
