Taith North Wales Transport & Travel Planning (Govt of UK), Few Other High Profile Websites Hacked By 'KHAN' (Pakistani Hacker)
A hacker from Pakistan going by the nick name of 'KHAN' has targeted a several high valued website of United Kingdom. The cyber attack happened few days ago where 'Khan' has hacked into the websites of Taith North Wales Transport and Travel Planning of UK Government. Taith is a joint committee of six county authorities from North Wales that handles transport and travel planning.
Sources revealed that the hacker belongs from Italy has managed to gain access into one the server of UK govt, and thus he successfully hack and change the index page with customized message saying- "today i am again with same message uk goverment deciding Ban Hijab for muslim womens what the hell is this! when your womens wear underware and come out of home beaches, road, you said this is freedom ? this is no problem ? but when our ladies , sisters , mothers wear hijab you said this is problem . so you call this justice ? i will fight for our right like a legend till i die .. We Want Freedom For Our Religion. You can kill us but cant kill our idea!" The hacker also claimed that not only defacement, but also he managed to breach the database of  the website. As soon as the security breach get spotted the authorities of Taith North Wales Transport Dept, took immediate steps and restored the site. While the time of writing this news, Taith Transportation portal has come back to online to its normal format. Also in his deface page 'Khan' took the responsibility of intrusion against Customs of Russia' official website. This slew of hacking rampage also affected several other high profile website of UK such as Hotel Black Boy Inn, Buckley Industry, Groes News, Spirit Models, Livetech, ByteBack Training & few more.

Linux/Cdorked.A: One of The Most Sophisticated Apache Backdoor Targets Millions of Websites to Serve Blackhole Exploit

ESET one of the world renowned security firm headquartered in Bratislava have figured out what it called a malicious cyber rampage targeting millions of cPanel-based servers. Since last few months security experts have been tracking server level compromises that have been utilizing malicious Apache modules to inject malware into websites and  redirecting some of its requests to the infamous Blackhole Exploit packs. On cPanel-based servers, instead of adding modules or modifying the Apache configuration, the attackers started to replace the Apache binary (httpd) with a malicious one. This new backdoor is very sophisticated and this new malware has been dubbed "Linux/Cdorked.A." Several analysis reveals that it is a sophisticated and stealthy backdoor meant to drive traffic to malicious websites. According to the official blog post of ESET - Linux/Cdorked.A is one of the most sophisticated Apache backdoor's we have seen so far. The backdoor leaves no traces of compromised hosts on the hard drive other than its modified httpd binary, thereby complicating forensics analysis. All of the information related to the backdoor is stored in shared memory. The configuration is pushed by the attacker through obfuscated HTTP requests that aren't logged in normal Apache logs. This means that no command and control information is stored anywhere on the system.
This malicious cyber rampage was first detected by another security firm named 'Sucuri' and later ESET published a detailed analysis of the issue. But still there are thoughtful matter as already thousands of websites get infected. The attack is particularly dangerous as Apache web servers are among the most well-known and widely-used in the world and are used by numerous companies. This means that a successful security breach can affect numerous different businesses across a diverse range of industries.
As this malware also known as Linux/Cdorked.A has already been spotted in the wild, so on behalf of cyber media, we urge all the concern system administrator, security analyst to take care of the above issue while to checking their servers and verify that they are not affected by this threat. The past 7th April will be unforgettable for Israeli cyber space, yes it was no doubt the black day for Israel, when the World's largest hacker group "Anonymous" with help of several other hackers communities caused ruin while bringing down almost all the Israeli Government websites, along with more that 100,000 other important Israeli websites, 40,000 Facebook pages, 5,000 Twitter accounts and 30,000 bank accounts belonging to Israeli people. The hacker group not only demolished the cyber space of Israel, but also caused a loss of 3 billion USD. This never forgettable hacking rampage dubbed Operation Israel became the most devastating and venturesome hacking rampage ever happened to the Israeli cyber space. "Anonymous doesn't have the skills to damage the country's vital infrastructure. And if that was its intention, then it wouldn't have announced the attack ahead of time. It wants to create noise in the media about issues that are close to its heart." This is more or less what Anonymous always does, often with varying levels of success.

Muslim Liberation Army (MLA) & Kosova Hacker Security (KHS) Joins Operation Isreal & Hacked Several Israeli Govt Websites & Leaked Sensitive Data

Operation Israel the devastating hacking rampage continues and becoming more and more venturesome for the Israeli cyber space. In the last week of March, it was dangerous hacker collective group Anonymous who called the operation also dubbed #OpIsrael, where the hacker group vows to erase Israel from the Internet. And as expected this is happening, the first quake came from Turkey-based Marxist hacker group named RedHack and Anonymous, where they targeted Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and breached personal data of 35K officials. Operation Israel, was not among those typical rampage of Anonymous, here Anon called other hackers from different part of of the spectrum to join. First it was RedHack who responded, and now the Muslim Liberation Army lead by Pakistani hacker Hitcher, along with Kosova Hacker's Security & few other Albanian hacker's community joined #OpIsrael. 
Yesterday it was Hitcher from Muslim Liberation Army (MLA) who targeted Israel’s Ministry of National Infrastructures (MNI). The hacker managed to breach the server of Israel Ministry and defaced several website belongs to Israel Ministry of Infrastructures. The attack took place at yesterday late night, but still at the time of writing the news, several Israel MNI websites are not performing. Not only MNI, as per sources several other high profile and Israeli government sites have also been taken down in this round attack. While covering this hack of Hitcher, we must have to recap the previous hack of  Pakistan hackers who are constantly against Israel (for Gaza issue) causing massive cyber attack against leading IT industry of Israel and other high profile Israeli sites. Just a couple of months ago, the world seen what it call the black day in the history if Israeli cyber space where another Pak hackers community hacked the main domain controller of Israel, which causes a massive hack against almost all the big Israeli sites such as government, MSN, Bing, Live, Skype, Microsoft Store, BBC, CNN, Coca-Colla, XBOX, Windows, Intel & many more. 


During the hacking rampage, Hitcher delivered the following message - 
“We are outraged at the Palestine present condition and the Illegal occupation of Palestinian Land By the Zionist Israelis. This attack is in response to the Injustice against the Palestinian people. Occupied Palestinian land under the guise of residential settlements are being increased. Palestinians are deprived of their basic human rights. International Aid workers are stopped from providing any humanitarian assistance to the people. The International community and media is not allowed to bring facts to world as due to strict restrictions” 

On the other hand, Kosova Hacker's Security along with few other Albanian hacker's community performed, what it called a demolishing cyber attack, that caused huge damage to the Israeli cyber space. During the attack Kosova Hacker's Security also known as KHS hit several important Israeli government & commercial websites such as  Civil Aviation Authority, Israel Police, Ministry of Health and many more. KHS caused damage to those websites, not by doing defacement by causing data leak. KHS hacked and exposed thousands of sensitive data, including full name, email-id, passwords and other confidential information of those said Israeli websites. All those leaked data have been made available by the hackers in a website called pentagoncrew.com All those hacks have been performed under the banner of Operation Israel also dubbed #OpIsrael for the cause of Gaza. For instance, here we can recap the hack of Kosova Hackers Security (KHS) where they hacked and exposed personal data of 35,000 Israeli people. 

At conclusion, we want to say that, at the time when Anonymous first called Operation Israel, Israeli government presumed that they have taken the threat very seriously and from the government end it has been  stated that they will take almost every steps to avoid any kind of disaster. Now after observing the above scenario it is clear that Israel Government have completely failed to protect their cyber space, in spite of having precaution. Also another thing get spot light, that is different hackers community have already came under a single shade in order to hit Israel against Gaza & Palestine issue. Today is the historical 7th April, I mean the day which Anonymous promised to erase Israel from the Internet. Infamous hacker collective group Anonymous along with some organized hacker communities together started a massive rampage against Israeli cyber space. The hacker group threatened Israel government while  planning to engage a massive cyber-attack on Israel, saying that, they will "erase" the country from the Internet. From some legitimate sources it has been confirmed that the hackers are planning to execute the attack on 7th of April. One of the twitter account of Anonymous also confirmed the date and timing, while saying "Hacktivists Starting Cyber Attack against Israel on 7th of April." Also twitter feed of Anonymous invited numerous hackers communities around the world to join up for the cyber rampage dubbed Operation  Israel Phase 2 (#OpIsrael). On the other hand Israel government took the threat seriously and taking almost every steps to avoid any kind of disaster. Ofir Ben Avi, director of online group Accessible Government of Israel told the media -“It’s something being organized online over the past few days. What distinguishes this plan when compared to previous attacks is that it really seems to be organized by Anonymous-affiliated groups from around the world in what looks like a joining of forces”
As you all might know that past experience of Israel while dealing hackers was not at all sweet. Philippines rampage of hacktivist Anonymous continues, as this hacker collective group strikes again and blown the official website of Senator Vicente C. Sotto III. This attack carried under the banner of 'OccupyPhilippines' where the hacker group hacked into server of Senator Tito Sotto and defaced the index page. According to the hacker, the cyber attack was to stand against the controversial "Cybercrime Prevention Act of Philippines" widely known as Republic Act No. 10175. The hacker group believed that, if this bill did not get revised, then the freedom of speech in cyber space will be restricted. During this attack the hacker tried to send his message to the Senator, and that is - 

"It's been a long time, Tito Sen! Deny us our freedom of speech and of expression through R.A. 10175 
and we will deny you your cyberspace. You cannot shut us up, you cannot shut us down. 
And you shall not see us rest until R.A. 10175 is revised.
We are all waiting, we are all ready.

The attack took place in yesterday evening, as soon as the intrusion was spotted the site was sent offline for a certain period. And today morning, the whole thing get restored and it came back to its normal format.

More hackers taking part in the Israeli rampage dubbed Operation Israel. As soon as the story of bombing and air strike in Gaza get spotted on the social networks, we have seen immediate protest coming from almost every part of the world. In case of digital bombing, then it was first Anonymous who called Operation Israel, then hackers from different part of the world joined and contributed in this combined protest. So far we have seen along with Anon, Pakistani hacker Hitcher from Muslim Liberation Army, Indian hacker Godzilla, & Kosovo Hackers Security have played vital role in this rampage. But now the scenario is going from bad to worse for Israeli cyber space, as a group of Pakistani hackers hit a large number of high profile Israeli domain. Those big giants who have fallen victim in this round of cyber attack from Pakistan are MSN, Bing, Live, Skype, Microsoft Store, BBC, CNN, Coca-Colla, XBOX, Windows, Intel, Philips, Israeli Parliament, Citi Bank and few more. According to sources more than 44 million hacking attempts have been made on Israeli government web sites since Wednesday. Both the screen shot of the deface page and Zone-H mirror is saying that four hackers from Pakistan named 1337, H4x0rL1f3, ZombiE_KsA & Invectus were behind this massive cyber attack. Though a post on popular hackers forum named Sec4ever we came to know that ZombiE_KsA denied his relation with this hack. As usual self claimed famous security news blog, The Hacker News, tried to do a publicity stunt, while morphing the original news. Chasing fake publicity and money, the ready made source of news, also known as The Hacker News forgot the importance of  the situation in Gaza.
According to the view of VOGH, it hardly matters who take part in this hack, but what matters is that, a few human stand for humanity & humanity is beyond any religion, any cast and any color. So far the world have seen an instance of cruelty and inhumane of Israeli army, where the people of Gaza have been tortured brutally. The peace loving people across the world have already stood against this relentless practice. And when Anonymous called Operation Israel, that protest became a digital bombing. But its yet not over, many more to come, as another very popular hacker collective group named Kosovo Hackers Security (KHS) have taken part in #OpIsrael. At the very first phase of their attack Kosovo Hacker's Security Group has attacked many servers belongs to Israeli govt, corporate & other major sectors. Thus the hacker group has gathered documents of more that 35,000 Israeli people including full name, email-id, postal address, phone number, passwords, fax & so on. According to KHS those leaked data belongs to Israeli citizen, along with Govt employs, police and several other sensitive personalities. All those leaked data are made public by the hacker group and can be found in 1337.al. KHS leader & Hotmail hacker, Th3 Dir3ctorY vows to engage more cyber attack against Israel while saying "Israel is attacking Gaza without any proper reason, so if they don't stop doing that we will attack in the energy sector & nuclear area of Israel and we will attack Israel with very bad viruses..." Before this leak, earlier in this year KHS also exposed more than 7 thousand credit card details of Israeli people. Also this hacker group was behind several attacks against Ukraine, Greece, Hotmail, IBM and so on.

After Anonymous & Hitcher it was the turn for Indian hackers. A young hacker code named "Godziila Volcanimum" joined the hack activity or in other word the Israeli rampage. During the attack he targeted several Israeli government websites including Israel Ministry of Justice and its ten to twelve sub-domains. According to the sources all those targeted websites were frozen by the hacker while sending massive traffic to generate load and interrupt the services. The attack was took place in the Friday evening and the hacker managed to violate the services for several hours. Several sources and medias confirmed that the official website of Israeli ministry of justice was remain down for more than a day. The list of all those targeted Ministry of Justice domain, which fallen victim to this round of cyber attack, can be found on a pastebin note; released by the hacker. In his press release Godziila Volcanimum said "Is killing innocent people a Justice?? Stop killing small kids and women's.. Don't cross your limit.. ./Peace is just what we want..." which clearly indicating that the motive of this cyber attack was driven by the cause of Gaza and to to show support for Palestine, which is currently under heavy fire. 

Update:- Now the server of Israeli Ministry of Justice has overcome the cyber attack. All those targeted websites have been restored and came back online, as expected they are functioning properly. So far the Israeli ministry have confirmed that more than 44 million hacking attempts have been made on Israeli government web sites since Wednesday when Israel began its Gaza air strikes.

FBI Agent's Laptop Hacked, 12 Million Apple UDID Stolen By Anonymous (#FFF)

#Antisec an Offshoot part of infamous hacker collective Anonymous claims to have stolen a file from an FBI laptop which contained more than 12 million unique Apple device indentity numbers. The hackers declares this hack as part of their Friday rampage (#FFF) though the breach did not took place on Friday
The data which hackers stole came from a laptop belonging to Supervisor Special Agent at the FBI, Christopher K. Stangl. Stangl, who joined the FBI in 2003 after graduating from Monmouth University, has been with the agency for nine and a half years and won an award in 2010 for helping bust a cyber crime ring. He was also sucked into another Anonymous stunt earlier this year when at least one of their supporters breached an FBI conference call that had been discussing Anonymous and LulzSec. Stangl was listed among those invited into the call, in an e-mail that was posted on Pastebin. In a video posted to Facebook in 2009 (and which will likely be getting a lot more views in the coming days), Stangl is shown wearing a dark suit and tie, speaking to the camera, and calling for “cyber security experts” to join the FBI.

According to the hacker :-

"During the second week of March 2012, a Dell Vostro notebook, used by Supervisor Special Agent Christopher K. Stangl from FBI Regional Cyber Action Team and New York FBI Office Evidence Response Team was breached using the AtomicReferenceArray vulnerability on Java, during the shell session some files were downloaded from his Desktop folder one of them with the name of “NCFTA_iOS_devices_intel.csv” turned to be a list of 12,367,232 Apple iOS devices including Unique Device Identifiers (UDID), user names, name of device, type of device, Apple Push Notification Service tokens, zipcodes, cellphone numbers, addresses, etc. the personal details fields referring to people appears many times empty leaving the whole list incompleted on many parts. no other file on the same folder makes mention about this list or its purpose."

The data is just part of a larger database of 12,367,232 UDIDs, and personal information such as full names, cellphone numbers, addresses and zipcodes belonging to Apple customers. The data was allegedly stolen via exploiting a Java vulnerability. In a pastebin note, the hacker posted several download links of the hacked database. Several security experts have already stated that the stolen data is correct. For those you are not familiar with the term UDID -Each iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch) is assigned a unique alphanumeric number known as a UDID. This was previously used by app developers to track data usage for their apps, until Apple decided to reject any apps which sought to gain access to this number in the most recent official iOS update. As well as believing that the FBI was using these identifiers to track people, though AnticSec, in its missive on Pastebin, said it didn't agree with the idea of hardware coded identifiers anyway: "We always thought it (UDIDs) was a really bad idea. The attack was took place in early Friday, and here also Anon enlisted this cyber attack among their F**k Friday rampage also known as #FFF. The hacker group claimed to have shut down a computer server belonging to Australia's domestic spy agency ASIO, reportedly briefly closing down access to its public webpage. On its Twitter feed Anonymous Australia (@AuAnon) wrote: "The anonymous Operation Australia hackers have today again been busy with further attacks on the ASIO and DSD website."
According to sources - ASIO server faced massive traffic generated from a DDoS botnet, which immediately effected the normal service and later when loads get increased then as expected ASIO became passive and gone offline. The Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) acknowledged some disruption to its website. "ASIO's public website does not host any classified information and any disruption would not represent a risk to ASIO's business."- said ASIO spokesman. The Sydney Morning Herald reported that ASIO's website was down for at least 30 minutes Friday morning, but it appeared to be loading normally Friday afternoon. Operation Australia, which has its own @Op_Australia Twitter stream said it would "stop the attacks at 10pm Aus. BUT we will never stop watching!".

Anonymous Steals 40GB User Data From Australian ISP Named AAPT  

Australian rampage of Anonymous continues. Anonymous has claimed to have breached & stolen more than 40GB data from an Australian internet service provider named AAPT. Also the hacker collective group vows to publish those online. This cyber attack on AAPT comes just days after Australian arm of the group claimed responsibility for bringing down 10 government websites and warned that it will continue the attacks on ".gov.au" sites until plans to force ISPs to store user data and make it further available to security services are shelved. This hack comes as the second stage of a campaign against new surveillance and data retention laws that would force ISPs (Internet Service Providers) to store user data and make it available to intelligence agencies for up to two years. A formal statement purporting to be from the CEO of AAPT has appeared on PasteBin says:-
"STATEMENT FROM DAVID YUILE, CEO AAPT
IT WAS BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION BY OUR SERVICE PROVIDER, MELBOURNE IT, AT APPROXIMATELY 9.30PM LAST NIGHT THAT THERE HAD BEEN A SECURITY INCIDENT AND UNAUTHORISED ACCESS TO SOME AAPT BUSINESS CUSTOMER DATA STORED ON SERVERS AT MELBOURNE IT.
AAPT IMMEDIATELY INSTRUCTED MELBOURNE IT TO SHUT DOWN THE SERVERS WHEN WE WERE NOTIFIED OF THE INCIDENT. PRELIMINARY FINDINGS SUGGEST IT WAS TWO FILES THAT WERE COMPROMISED AND THE DATA IS HISTORIC, WITH LIMITED PERSONAL CUSTOMER INFORMATION. FURTHER, THE SERVERS ON WHICH THE FILES WERE STORED HAVE NOT BEEN USED OR CONNECTED TO AAPT FOR AT LEAST 12 MONTHS..."
Anon Australia claimed the attacks aimed to show how we should not trust ISPs to store personal information. "You want to trust these ISPs with your data? When they can't even keep it secured?! If I were you, I wouldn't trust anyone but myself with my data." Anonymous claimed that it plans to release a sample of the data later today, but will deliberately censor private details, because "the people were not their target".
"We don't want to publish personal innocent personal details like some of the other Anons have in other operations which have lost the public's support. Our target is the (Federal) Government who think they can get away with doing something like this," the hacker added.

Trade.Gov.Cn Hacked By Anonymous, Database Dumped 

China Unit of hacktivist Anonymous still continuing their China Rampage. Earlier this hacker collective group took responsibility of hacking into thousand of high profile, commercial & Govt websites of China. But the game is yet not over, at least their activity is proving that. In their twitter account Anonymous China tweeted their latest activity and that is as expected another big attack on Chinese cyber space. This time the victim was Trade.Gov.Cn & ec.shandongbusiness.gov.cn financial transaction market of China Govt. In a public note on Pastebay the hacker group leaked the entire database of those said sites which includes credentails like username & passwords hash of more than 750 users, admin details, and many more. In short the full database has been dumped by the hacker group. Several twitter accounts of Anonymous re-twitted about this data breach. Immediately after the hack, authorities sent the site offline for a certain period but now it came back to its normal format.
