Anonymous Message To NSA- They Are Not Targeting U.S. Power Grid

Anonymous Message To NSA- They Are Not Targeting U.S. Power Grid
Few days ago Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology found vulnerability on  U.S. power grid cyber security system. Yesterday General Keith Alexander The head of the National Security Agency suspected that hackers from Anonymous are going to exploit the vulnerability & shutdown the entire U.S. Power Grid. Later Anonymous responded while releasing You Tube video where they have clearly stated that they are not going to hit US Power grid because thousands of people rely on electricity for everything they do; hospitals even need this electricity to save lives, and taking out the power grid would cause harm to the very people we (Anonymous) wish to protect. There is no valid reason for us to shut down the power grid, as far as we are aware. Any such predictions by the various government, security, and intelligence organizations are likely attempts to instill fear into those that don't understand this, and to discredit Anonymous as a whole.

Anonymous Message to the NSA:-
"Greetings NSA,
We are Anonymous.
Your statement regarding the potential future sabotage of power grids by Anonymous, disgusts us to the core, as it is clearly an attempt at fear mongering. The idea that Anonymous would shut down one of the most vital resources for it to operate, is ludicrous.
While security and intelligence organizations throughout the world attempt to depict Anonymous as a 'terrorist organization', many people understand that this same subset of Anonymous they speak of, is actually a movement for freedom. This appears to scare government organizations, to the point where they might do anything in an attempt to discredit Anonymous, and make people believe Anonymous exists solely to harm innocent people.
Are these claims and predictions an attempt to falsely accuse Anonymous of something that will happen in the future - maybe even being orchestrated by the same government organizations that are now already blaming Anonymous? Many people have warned about the sad state of the power grid infrastructure in the past, but why would we shut down our own computers and other communication tools?
Thousands of people rely on electricity for everything they do; hospitals even need this electricity to save lives, and taking out the power grid would cause harm to the very people we wish to protect.
There is no valid reason for us to shut down the power grid, as far as we are aware. Any such predictions by the various government, security, and intelligence organizations are likely attempts to instill fear into those that don't understand this, and to discredit Anonymous as a whole.
We are Anonymous.
We are legion.
We do not forgive.
We do not forget.
For once don't expect us."

#OpIsrael: Anonymous Hacked Israeli Defense Force & 40 Other Israeli Sites While Protesting Gaza Attacks

#OpIsrael: Anonymous Hacked Israeli Defense Force & 40 Other Israeli Sites While Protesting Gaza Attacks

So far the world have seen an instance of cruelty and inhumane of Israeli army, where the people of Gaza have been tortured brutally. The peace loving people across the world have already stood against this relentless practice. Earlier we have seen many times, where hackers around the globe protested against this implacable practice of Israeli defense.  But so far it was mainly hacker collective from Pakistan who was mainly fighting for the Gaza cause, dubbed Freedom For Palestine (#OpFreePalestine), yesterday the dangerous & mysterious hacktivist group Anonymous joined the campaign. This Thursday Anonymous released a manifesto, vowing revenge on Israel for an escalating offensive in Gaza. The group's new campaign named Operation Isreal (#OpIsrael) comes after rumors that Israeli forces would shut down telecommunications in Gaza, including the internet. OpIsrael started with a series of attacks where Anonymous went on a spree of website defacement and takedown, while calling their members to flood forty sites with junk web traffic designed to knock them offline and defacing websites including the privacy firm Israeli Security Academy and a blog the group described as belonging to the Israeli Defense Forces. “We Anonymous will not sit back and watch a cowardly Zionist State demolish innocent people’s lives.” reads one message posted to a defaced site, along with an image of smoke rising over what appears to be a Palestinian city. Another message on a hacked site attributes the attack to Pakistani Anonymous hackers: “The people of Pakistan are always supporting the brave people of Gaza, we love you!”
Here we would like to remind you, that in 2011, members of Anonymous threatened to engage cyber attack against Israel, while protesting the same issue. That time also Israeli Defense Force was shutdown by  Anon.
Anonymous Twitter accounts provided links to what they described as an Anonymous Gaza Care Package with tools for staying online if Israel cuts Internet service the Gaza Strip during its military action. Another hacker group, Telecomix, provided its own detailed instructions in English and Arabic for using dial-up connections, a technique it first suggested during the Egyptian Internet outage surrounding the Arab Spring protests there last year.

Operation Israel (Full Press Release of Anonymous):-

"Greetings World --

For far to long, Anonymous has stood by with the rest of the world and watched in despair the barbaric, brutal and despicable treatment of the Palestinian people in the so called "Occupied Territories" by the Israel Defense Force. Like so many around the globe, we have felt helpless in the face of such implacable evil. And today's insane attack and threatened invasion of Gaza was more of the same.

But when the government of Israel publicly threatened to sever all Internet and other telecommunications into and out of Gaza they crossed a line in the sand. As the former dictator of Egypt Mubarack learned the hard way - we are ANONYMOUS and NO ONE shuts down the Internet on our watch. To the IDF and government of Israel we issue you this warning only once. Do NOT shut down the Internet into the "Occupied Territories", and cease and desist from your terror upon the innocent people of Palestine or you will know the full and unbridled wrath of Anonymous. And like all the other evil governments that have faced our rage, you will NOT survive it unscathed.

To the people of Gaza and the "Occupied Territories", know that Anonymous stands with you in this fight. We will do everything in our power to hinder the evil forces of the IDF arrayed against you. We will use all our resources to make certain you stay connected to the Internet and remain able to transmit your experiences to the world. As a start, we have put together the Anonymous Gaza Care Package - http://bit.ly/XH87C5 - which contains instructions in Arabic and English that can aid you in the event the Israel government makes good on it's threat to attempt to sever your Internet connection. It also contains useful information on evading IDF surveillance, and some basic first aid and other useful information. We will continue to expand and improve this document in the coming days, and we will transmit it to you by every means at our disposal. We encourage you to download this package, and to share it with your fellow Palestinians to the best of your ability.

We will be with you. No matter how dark it may seem, no matter how alone and abandoned you may feel - know that tens of thousands of us in Anonymous are with you and working tirelessly around the clock to bring you every aid and assistance that we can.

We Are Anonymous
We Are Everywhere
We Are Legion
We Do Not Forgive
We Do Not Forget

To the oppressors of the innocent Palestinian people, it is to late to EXPECT US"

Leaked FBI Documents is Calling "Anonymous is A National Security Threat"

According to a PDF containing what purports to be a leaked psychological assessment of the leaders of LulzSec and Anonymous by the FBI's Behavioral Science Unit (which also profiles serial killers), Anonymous is not only not a collection of individuals, it's a coherent group that poses a threat to national security.
Neither the FBI nor Dept. of Homeland Security have commented on the "leak," which may be a fake according to the TechHerald, but seems to reflect accurately the thinking behind a series of DHS warning bulletins and crackdowns that have resulted in 75 raids and 16 arrests of Anonymous members just this year.
Anons themselves refer to the group as a rough, almost coincidental collective of individuals that occasionally cooperate on projects to protest specific things. There are approximately eight vortices of special interest within the collective, according to interviews, postings and counter-arguments posted by various Anonymi in response to invective by those it attacked.
Attacks are the work of small groups of interested individuals who, on their own initiative and using public argument as their weapon, gather like-minded Anonymi to protest governmental outrages or attack injustice in whatever form they find it, according to de facto leaders in the non-existent but vocal #OPpublicrelations.
In March, for example, members of Anonymous and 4Chan debated, in the finest traditions of American Democracy and citizen activism, whether to attack and defeat the Internet scourge that is Rebecca Black – the annoying but harmless pop "singer" whose made herself famous with a mom-and-dad-funded music video on YouTube that repeated the same lyrics so often it became apparent those might be the only words she knows.(Other, less world-shaking Anonymous projects resulted in significant attacks against the embattled governments of Egypt and Syria, the exposure of government atrocities in Bolivia, civil protest against censorship on the Bay Area Rapid Transit System, attacks on Visa, Mastercard and Paypal in support of whistleblower site WikiLeaks and a long-simmering, high-profile protest against unrestricted greed, corrosive dishonesty of Wall Street and the and economic destruction from which the rest of the country suffers while financiers continues to prosper.)
The FBI has analyzed various instant messages, forum postings, emails, Twitter posts and other documentation and decided Anonymous behaves more like a coherent organization led by a small number of powerful and focused activists, not a politically involved group of individuals using the Anonymous banner as gathering point.
  • "The Anonymous ‘collective’ has risen from an amorphous group of individuals on the Internet to the current state of a potential threat to national security. Due to the nature of Anonymous, they believe that they are a leaderless collective. However, it has been shown that there is a defined leadership group," the document reads.

  • "A thorough assessment of each UNSUB’s online activities, speech patterns, and general writings was collected by the FBI. Each UNSUB was individually assessed by members of the SBU (sic) and a psychological profile created from these datasets."

  • Most of the members of Anonymous are under 30, but the bulk of its leadership are not teenage hacker/script-kids as many portray themselves, according to the FBI.

  • "It is likely" that Sabu, one of the more vocal spokestrolls for the LulzSec mini-collective of Anonymous, "works in the information security sector and has been doing so since the early days of the internet and hacking activities. His use of net speak is interspersed with proper American English diction and grammar that implies he is an American citizen and has been educated,” the FBI notes said.

BS, quoth the Anon:

"Anonymous is not a group, it does not have leaders, people can do ANYTHING under the flag of their country," according to one member in an email interview with the AP. "Anything can be a threat to National Security, really," the member said in an email interview. "Any hacker group can be."
If the document is real, it ends on a disturbingly dangerous and presumptive conclusion: that attacks and protests by Anonymous will eventually lead to the death of members of Anonymous, law enforcement or the public that will drive many supporters away from Anonymous.
Until then, Anonymous, whether collectively or individually, may be unstoppable in practical terms.

The overall assessment for the movement however is the following:

1. The movement is out of control and there seems to be no real coherent motivation
2. The leaders have begun to hide themselves a bit more due to arrests that have been made
3. Their reliance on technology will eventually be their downfall
4. Their interpersonal relationships are weak points, as such they should be leveraged
5. Their increasing attacks on infrastructure will eventually lead to serious results that could in fact lead to deaths

Prolific "spokesman" for Anonymous leaves the hacker group

In one year, Barrett Brown made himself into one of the best-known public faces of the hacker collective Anonymous—and now he's stepping away from the group.
"There's little quality control in a movement like that, which was not a huge problem when the emphasis was on assisting with North African revolutions and those who came on board thus tended to be of a certain sort," he told Ars this week.
"But as things like OpSony arise, you attract a lot of people whose interest is in fucking with video game companies—which is not to say that there aren't legitimate reasons for OpSony or that the majority involved aren't quality people, but to the extent that someone sits things out when we're working to promote liberty and fight dictatorships but then hops on board when we start going after an electronics firm that's perpetrated far lesser villainy, one has to question those peoples' priorities."

Public face

Brown has been an unofficial "spokesman" of sorts for Anonymous, a go-to guy whenever a news outlet needed a real name or a face to put on TV. He and another Anon, Gregg Housh, have become public symbols of a movement that largely cloaks itself in anonymity, hiding behind Guy Fawkes masks and Internet Relay Chat handles.
How many other Anons would sit for a lengthy profile of the sort featured in the March issue of Dallas' D magazine that talks about Brown's heroin use, his sexual escapades, and the reason he wears cowboy boots—while running a photo of him slumped in a chair beneath a stuffed bobcat? And that featured descriptions like this?
The 378-square-foot efficiency was dimly lit and ill-kept. Dirty dishes were piled high in the sink. A taxidermied bobcat lay on the kitchen counter. Brown is an inveterate smoker—Marlboro 100’s, weed, whatever is at hand—and the place smelled like it. An overflowing ashtray sat on his work table, which stood just a few feet from his bed in the apartment’s “living room.” Two green plastic patio chairs faced the desk. I left with the feeling that I needed a bath.
Brown got publicly involved in Anonymous in early 2010, when the group launched Operation Titstorm and targeted the Australian government's Web censorship proposals (which included a plan to ban depictions of nude small-breasted women who might resemble underage girls—hence the name of the operation). Brown wrote a piece for the Huffington Post at the time in which he saw the Anonymous attack as a new kind of "revolutionary engine" that might one day remake the world and even threaten the concept of the nation-state.
"Having taken a long interest in the subculture from which Anonymous is derived and the new communicative structures that make it possible, I am now certain that this phenomenon is among the most important and under-reported social developments to have occurred in decades, and that the development in question promises to threaten the institution of the nation-state and perhaps even someday replace it as the world's most fundamental and relevant method of human organization," he wrote.
To help create this world of spontaneous communities linked only by shared goals and not by geography or ethnicity, Brown decided to help Anonymous in a public fashion after being contacted by Housh. He had a front-row seat for the late 2010 Anonymous ops targeting Middle Eastern regimes. "What I saw and did during the next few weeks convinced me that these sorts of efforts can and should be used to channel dissatisfaction with injustice into concrete action in opposition to such things," he told me.
But it wasn't the Anonymous Middle East ops that captured the world's attention; it was the group's pro-WikiLeaks attacks on financial firms that had cut off the site's access to donations which led to international headlines. Anonymous staged denial of service attacks on MasterCard, Visa, and others—and the FBI got involved, eventually executing 40 search warrants against the group.
Meanwhile, HBGary Federal CEO Aaron Barr decided to "unmask" the supposed leadership of Anonymous, only to see the group break into his company's computers, make off with his private e-mails, and expose some terribly shady goings-on to the light of day. Barr eventually resigned his job—but Anonymous gained even more press. Brown even took the lead role in a national NBC News segment on Anonymous earlier this year, one that called him "an underground commander in a new kind of war." (The stuffed bobcat is visible in the background.)

The HBGary operation showed Brown that he had been right. "The HBGary operation demonstrated that small teams of individuals with relevant skills can do a great deal of damage to institutions that are otherwise effectively invincible by virtue of their position within the system," he told me.
"The fact that the FBI had just raided 40 alleged participants in DDoS attacks in conjunction with a sweeping international investigation into Anonymous even as Team Themis' various criminal conspiracies were facilitated by the Justice Department and have thus far been ignored by 'law enforcement,' meanwhile, has reaffirmed my belief that the rule of law is void."

Creating "pursuants"

What's going to replace the rule of law? Private bands of citizens engaged in a "massive campaign of investigation and exposure." While Anonymous could do some of the work, the group seems unable to shake its juvenile rhetoric, its thirst for "lulz," and its reputation for drama. These traits were certainly on display in the last few weeks when an Anon known as "Ryan" took over the main AnonOps IRC servers and posted chat logs and IP addresses of users—temporarily depriving Anonymous of its main gathering point. Ryan said his actions were taken to overthrow the dictators off in invite-only chat rooms, making plans and acting like the group's leaders. Was this true? And does the truth even matter?
For Brown, Anonymous has become a distraction to the work he really wants to accomplish. "To the extent one works out of AnonOps or some other venue of that sort, one has to deal with those people, as well as with a lot of frankly disturbed hacker types like Ryan—who continues to fuck with my projects," he said. So Brown and some like-minded associates will do some of the same work, but under a different banner—Brown's existing "Project PM."
What is Project PM? According Brown's description of the project, it's "a pursuant—an autonomous online entity composed of individuals who have come together to conduct activism in pursuit of a particular end and who wish to do so by the most efficient means available." The first big project is OpMetalGear, which has set up a wiki to collate information on defense and intelligence contracting, especially as it related to the "persona management" software sought by the US government and discussed in some of the HBGary Federal e-mails.
To some, Brown looks like a spotlight-hogging "namefag"; a Radio Free Europe blogger recently suggested that Brown could be the next Julian Assange. "There are clear parallels with Assange," wrote Luke Allnutt on May 18. "A broken home, interrupted education, a fierce independent streak, a conspiratorial mind, and a clear desire to be in the limelight. They both like to see themselves (in Assange's case, with some justification) as plucky digital outlaws taking on the Internet’s evil corporate and state overlords."
Critics of Anonymous routinely single out Brown for criticism due to his public identity. "Barrett Brown, you are one dumb son of a bitch. Ballsy, but dumb," said one critic on Twitter, who complained that Brown was little more than an apologist for a gang of crooks. Conservative blogger Robert Stacy McCain wants to know if the FBI is watching Brown, "and if they’re not already, shouldn’t they?"
Others suggest that Anons don't like him much, or perhaps worry about what he knows. Earlier this week, security firm Kaspersky Labs noted Brown's departure, saying, "Anonymous observers, who asked to remain anonymous themselves, said there's reason to believe that Brown is being cut off by core Anonymous members worried about having their identities exposed, or wary of Brown's focus on government wrongdoing."
As for Brown, he plans to keep working "with people who are themselves still very much associated with Anonymous and AnonOps in particular," but he won't be operating under the "Anonymous" banner any longer.
Funding this kind of work can be a challenge. When he announced Project PM last year, Brown asked readers for donations.
"You’ll also get a lot of bang for your buck in terms of the marginal utility of your patronage, as I am extraordinarily frugal, even Spartan insomuch as that I spend a lot of time sitting around without a shirt on, or pants, or more than one sock," he wrote. "I smoke Top rolling tobacco, which goes for around $3 a package and is sold in many prison commissaries. I eat oatmeal for breakfast rather than endangered condor eggs dipped in wasabi-infused veal compote like Christopher Hitchens does. Anyway, the tobacco is necessary for my work."
Thanks to his heightened profile, Brown did secure a writing gig with The Guardian newspaper in the UK, which brings in a bit of cash. He also writes for magazines like our sister publication Vanity Fair here in the US. (Update: Brown clarifies that both the Guardian and Vanity Fair gigs began before he got involved with Anonymous.)
He's now working on pieces for Al-Jazeera that discuss what he has learned from OpMetalGear. Brown also has hopes for a film script. "It's a sort of dark political comedy about a guy who secretly ends up as a speechwriter for both candidates in the same campaign," he said.

AnonOps- Anonymous-OS Is Fake & Wrapped In Trojans (Anonymous Vs. Anonymous)

AnonOps- Anonymous-OS Is Fake & Wrapped In Trojans (Anonymous Vs. Anonymous)
Yesterday we cover the release of Anonymous-OS, which was claimed to be the first Operating System made by hacker collective Anonymous. But now we are facing a complete different scenario. After the release of the OS one of the so called official twitter account of Anon tweeted about the OS "The Anon OS is fake it is wrapped in trojans". From this tweet the controversy begins which takes two direction, one saying Anonymous did not release their own operating system and other saying the OS have certain backdoors, malware & trojan installed. In a SourceForge project page this Anonymous-OS was first made available but later the SourceForge Authority said that they have removed the page and also the distribution from their server as significant concerns were raised concerning the software bundle's authenticity and possible maliciousness. According to their official blog post :-
Yesterday we starting hearing some buzz about a new project called “Anonymous-OS” - people claiming that it was not affiliated in any way with the group referring to itself as “Anonymous". We looked at the project, and decided that although the name of the project was misleading (we see no evidence that it is connected with Anonymous) it appeared, on initial glance, to be a security-related operating system, with, perhaps, an attack-oriented emphasis. We have, in the past, taken a consistent stance on “controversial” projects - that is, we don’t pass judgement based on what’s possible with a product, but rather consider it to be amoral - neither good nor bad - until someone chooses to take action with it.
VOGH Review:-
Anonymous-OS was based on Ubuntu 11.10 with number of hacking tools like HOIC, Sqlmap, Havij, Zenmap & so on. Basically the OS was represented to be a pentest distro. But just after the time of release a controversy came while saying - is the OS safe? In this issue the previous track record of Anonymous was not good. Remember few days ago in a report Symantec have discovered that a piece of Anonymous-recommended DDoS software called Slowloris contained an insidious Trojan that was stealing financial info from people using it. In #OpMegaupload, the largest attack ever where 5,635 Anon people bring down the websites of Universal Music, the U.S. Department of Justice and the Recording Industry Association of America while using one of the world's most popular and vastly used DDoSer LOIC. But in reality thousands of people has been tricked by Anon in the named of cause and justice. Here again the history repeated. In the so it's Anon Vs. Anon.

(#OpFreeKorea) Anonymous Breached Uriminzokkiri, Stolen 15k User Data & Hijacked Twitter, Flickr Account

Anonymous Breached Uriminzokkiri.com, Stolen 15K User Data & Hijacked Twitter, Flickr Account (#OpFreeKorea)

Anonymous the most organized and infamous hacktivist group of the world have targeted the cyber fence of North Korea, and the hacking campaign started with the hack of propaganda site Uriminzokkiri.com. The attack had been executed in different steps, first the hacker group calling them selves 'Anonymous Korea' managed to gain access inside Uriminzokkiri and claimed to have stolen more than 15,000 user data (including the names, email addresses, passwords and dates of birth & many more) and later they defaced the website. Uriminzokkiri's main site was offline till Thursday morning. Not only the data breach and defacement, Anonymous affiliated hackers continued their chariots of cyber attack, which then hit the official twitter and Flickr account belongs to Uriminzokkiri. Both the twitter feed and flickr photos have been replaced by the hacker group with anti-North Korea messages. In their message Anonymous boldly demanded that Kim Jong-Un resign and installs free democracy in North Korea while saying Kim Jong as "threatening world peace." Meanwhile Uriminzokkiri's official Twitter account picture had been changed to show two mask-wearing dancers, alongside the legend "Tango Down" and links to hacked companion sites as follows: Hacked uriminzokkiri.com, uriminzokkiri.com/itv, ryugyongclip.com
Notably the hackers posted a cartoon wanted poster of Kim Jong Un – "aka Nuke Nuke Mickey Lover" – with a list of his alleged crimes, including "threatening world peace with ICBMs and nuclear weapons," "wasting money while his people starve to death," and "concentration camps and the worst human rights violation in the world."

The entire cyber attack was done under the banner of Operation Free Korea also dubbed #OpFreeKorea. Hackers from Anonymous vows the North Korean government while claiming to have access to the country’s local intranets, mail servers and web servers. Anonymous hackers claimed to have taken five of the country’s websites offline over the weekend. "We are inside your local intranets, we are inside your mail servers, we are inside your web servers." said the twitter feed of Anonymous Korea. From one of the relevant source of Anonymous it is confirmed that the next activity for the Anonymous #OpFreeKorea campaign is slated as happening on April 19.

UFC Hacked Again & President Dana White's Personal Information Exposed By Anonymous

UFC Hacked Again & President Dana White's Personal Information Exposed By Anonymous

Just about a week ago a hacker group named Underground Nazi has hacked the official website of The official website of UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship). In a tweet hackers said UFC publicly supporting SOPA and PIPA so they have launched this attack. But its not over yet. This time UFC face massive attack from Anonymous. According to sources UFC President Dana White has mixed up with Anon members on Thursday night on Twitter. As expected Anon send payback, they have posted personal information of White including ncluding his Social Security number, cellphone number and address, salary, family information and so on. Not only White but also the personal information of all the UFC key stuffs has been openly published on a pastebin release by Anonymous. Also the UFC website get hacked for second time in this week.

Here Is the Twitter Conversation Between White & Anon Members:-
@YourAnonNews
Ahoy @danawhite - what do you have against the Internet? We're just curious, as we were quite surprised at the harsh tone of your comments.
@danawhite
@YourAnonNews I love the Internet. It helped us grow our biz. Stealing is stealing! And hacking into people's shit is terrorism.
Other responses to the initial tweet from @YourAnonNews included an attack on its anonymity:
And yes cowards hide on the Internet! At least I’m man enough to say all my shit in public and not hide behind a screen name!!
Same guys on the net bitching about fighter pay are the ones who are stealing from them. That are our partners on PPV!
When told that “the Internet is here, deal with it”, White responded:
The content we put on it isn’t. Deal with it.
A number of Twitter users asked White why labelled Anonymous as terrorists, he responded:
Really!!!? Are you reading some of these tweets!? They said they are coming after me tonight that’s fucking terrorism! I’m rite here.
When the Anonymous account asked if he supported Anonymous’ fight for social change, he said:
No i’m a fight promoter. I put on fights. People are stealing my shit on the net and selling it or selling ads on it
Me and my partners have busted our ass for 10 years to build the sport and co. When you steal you should be dealt with! Agree?
In response to Anonymous claiming it is fighting for social change, White tweeted:
I’m sure you do but if u are ok with streaming my product or fucking with my website that’s not the way to do it.
Well then I’m not the bad guy. I’m the guy who doesn’t want people stealing my shot and terrorist funk w my site
The Anonymous account later described its dealings with White as “actually quite pleasant and civil” yet, minutes later, it tweeted a link to White’s personal details, containing a lot of information that he’ll want to be kept private. White has taken a direct approach to dealing with Anonymous and, having made some very strong statements, it seems likely that the group has plans for further action against the UFC or White himself.
Well, that didn’t take long. One Anonymous hacker — @s3rverexe — got into UFC’s website and subsequently posted a number of backup files on Pastebin. There may yet to more developers to come. Motivated by White’s comments, Anonymous hacker @s3rverexe broke into the UFC site once again today adding the signature Anonymous logo. Here is a screen shot. Later the site was rescued.

FBI Said: Anonymous is Not so Anonymous Anymore

Anonymous is not so anonymous anymore. The computer hackers, chat-room denizens and young people who make up the loosely affiliated Internet collective have drawn the attention of the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and other federal investigators. What was once a small group of pranksters has become a potential national security threat, federal officials say. The FBI has carried out more than 75 raids and arrested 16 people this year in connection with illegal hacking claimed by Anonymous.
Since June, Homeland Security has issued three “bulletins” warning cybersecurity professionals of hacking successes and future threats by Anonymous and related groups — including a call in Manhattan to physically occupy Wall Street on Sept. 17 to protest various U.S. government policies.
San Francisco police arrested more than 40 protesters last month during a rowdy demonstration organized by Anonymous that disrupted the evening commute. The group called for the demonstration after the Bay Area Rapid Transit system blocked cellphone service in San Francisco stations to quell a planned protest over a police shooting on a subway platform.
“Anonymous’ activities increased throughout 2011 with a number of high-profile attacks targeting both public- and private-sector entities,” one of the bulletins issued last month said.
Some members of the group have called for shutting down Facebook in November over privacy issues, though other Anonymous followers are disavowing such an attack, underscoring just how loosely organized the group is and how problematic it is to police.

“Anonymous insist they have no centralized operational leadership, which has been a significant hurdle for government and law enforcement entities attempting to curb their actions,” an Aug. 1 Homeland Security bulletin noted. “With that being said, we assess with high confidence that Anonymous and associated groups will continue to exploit vulnerable publicly available Web servers, Web sites, computer networks and other digital information mediums for the foreseeable future.”
Followers posting to Twitter and conversing on Internet Relay Chat insist there are no defined leaders of Anonymous and that it’s more of a philosophy than a formal club, though a small group of members do the most organizing online.

“Anonymous is not a group, it does not have leaders, people can do ANYTHING under the flag of their country,”
wrote one of the more vocal members who asked not to be identified.

“Anything can be a threat to National Security, really,” the member said in an e-mail interview. “Any hacker group can be.”

#OP maZYNGA: Anonymous Targeted Zynga, Leaked Confidential Documents & Games

Infamous hacker collective Anonymous again vows to destroy the most popular social network Facebook and one of its associate along with one of the best place to play online games Zynga. The offensive has been  named Operation MaZynga or dubbed #OP MaZynga. According to a post on AnonNews forum, the hacker group threatened to to take Facebook down on November 5 and release Zynga games to the public on that day for free if Zynga doesn't stop its alleged plans for massive layoffs and offshoring of jobs. Anonymous says that it has obtained secret documents about Zynga's strategy which includes a "massive layoff of a thousand people." The hacker group is ticked off about the jobs. "With a billion dollars cash sitting in a bank we do believe that such actions are an insult to the population and the behaviour of corporations like Zynga must change," it said. Last week, Zynga reported that it has $1.6 billion in cash, equivalents and marketable securities and confirmed that it laid off 150 people. As for rumors of bigger layoffs, these have been circulating for a while.

#OP MaZynga. Press Release From Anonymous:-

Transcript:-

"Zynga customers and Facebook users , We are anonymous . During the last few days anonymous has been targeting Zynga for the outrageous treatment of their employees and their actions against many developers.
We have come to believe that this actions of Zynga will result in massive layoff of a thousand people and legal actions against everyone that speaks to the public about this plan.
It will also come to end of the US game market as we know it as all this jobs will be replaced in other more convenient financial countries.
With a billion dollars cash sitting in a bank we do believe that such actions are an insult to the population and the behaviour of corporations like Zynga must change.
Anonymous could not allow this to happen so it's starting to release confidential documents we have leaked on this plan
As we speak we are planning to release also all the games we've taken from their servers for free.
That being said we will stop the idea of the distribution of such games if Zynga will cease immediately the plan.
The leaked strategy of Zynga , transcript:
Following the preliminary announced of this week the final strategy for the next two quarters has been successfully set to delivery by november 23 an additional but of 800 jobs with further raising of new capital from the market to support businesses.
We've identified our global gambling strategy with bwin.party and as we speak discussions are progressing with a partner to cover the US market.
Work is focused and on-going to completely outsource our development teams in our offices in Bangalore , India to hedge our position in the long term.
We've identified key new products from third parties such as Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime , Shove Prod and Music Invaders in which we are starting business contacts to buy these IP for transaction value of approximately 20 million.
We strongly believe we will conclude these deals this month and compete with this titles against mobile competitors with ease.
Our business continues to evolve and we must evolve with it. We operate in a exciting and challenging industry and I am very pleased that our senior leadership team continue to strengthen and develop with us."

Not that above files have already been removed for “copyright infringement”. Here we want yo give you reminder that i2011 Anonymous openly declared to take down Facebook. The operation was dubbed #Op-Facebook and Anonymous told that they will hit FB on the 5th of November last year. But in reality it was just a threat and as expected Anonymous failed to execute Operation Facebook. This year also members of Anonymous vows to re-engage the same operation on the same day (November 5th) also known as Guy Fawkes Day, named for the English historical figure from which Anonymous derives inspiration. So far neither Facebook, nor Zynga responded this message of the hacker group, so lets wait till November 5th, and stay tuned with VOGH for all the latest update on this & also other stories on cyber security, hacking & infosec industry.

Internal Collision Between Anonymous Team, Group Members Are Quitting

Internal collision between  Anonymous team,  members are quitting Anon group, and the main caused described by them si Lulzsec and Antisec movement. An alleged member of  Anonymous has apparently outed himself and quit. The UK-based hacker, who says his real name is Matthew, operated under the pseudonym “SparkyBlaze” during his time with Anonymous. As to his reasons for leaving the group, he points mainly to LulzSec, the AntiSec movement, and Anonymous’ leadership.

Mathew said :-
“When I started with Anon I thought I was helping people but over the past few months things inside anon have changed,” the hacker said in a statement posted to the Web. “I am mostly talking about AntiSec and LulzSec. They both go against what I stand for (and what anonymous says they stand for). Antisec has released gig after gig of innocent peoples information. For what? What did they do? Does anon have the right to remove the anonymity of innocent people? They are always talking about peoples right to remain anonymous so why are they removing that right?” To the Anonymous members he leaves behind, SparyBlaze adds, “You are not helping anyone.” He continues, “Think about the long run. Some thinking now can save you some large legal bills later. And yes i will be there when you get out of court to say: I told you so. There are other ways to help people, just don’t go to anon you are not hurting the governments you are hurting yourselves in the long run.”

To see Matthew's full statement and the reason why he is quitting cheek the following link where he has described everything.

Else You Can See the Statement of Matthew Here:-

"Ok,

So Over The Past Few Days I Have Been At A Cross road With Anonymous. Why? Because I Started To Think.

So When I Started With Anon I Thought I Was Helping People But Over The Past Few Months Things Inside Anon Have Changed. I Am Mostly Talking About AntiSec And LulzSec. They Both Go Against What I Stand For (And What Anonymous Says They Stand For). AntiSec Has Released Gig After Gig Of Innocent Peoples Information. For What? What Did They Do? Does Anon Have The Right To Remove The Anonymity Of Innocent People? They Are Always Talking About Peoples Right To Remain Anonymous So Why Are They Removing That Right?

Now I Could Talk for Hours On Why I Have Came To This Choice But I Don't Think Anyone Would Or  Read It Or Care. So I Will Just Say Some Key Points:

They Are Removing Peoples Right To Anonymity, A Right Which They Claim To Protect And Uphold.

Sending Some Packets To A Server And Putting Info On-line Is Not Helping Or Solving Anything

Anonymous DOES Have A Leader Ship And They Don't Give 2 Fucks About Us. Think, When Anons Were Arrested For DDoSing Paypal A While Back Was There A Mass Free Anon Operation?. Did They Put-Out Press Releases And Start Donations For Them?. No They Did One TV Interview And Fed Them To The Lions But When TopIary Was Arrested They Started #FreeTopIary We All Know He Is A "Higher Up" In Anon And They Started A Op For Him. You Think Those Donations Are Going To Topiary? Why Start A Op For Him? Well I Think It Is Because Of 2 Things:

    - Press (Anon Is The Biggest Fucking Media Whore I Have Ever Seen)

    - TopIary Is A Anon Who They Give A Fuck About

Now You May Think I Am Mad But All The Proof Is There. I Am Not Saying People In Anon Are All Fags, Some Thing They Are Helping. But They Have Been Tricked Into Thinking It. Truth Is Anonymous Hasn't Brought Down Governments. The People Have. If You Was A Dictator you Wouldn't Give a Fuck About People Taking Down Your Site. You Would Give A Fuck About The People Rioting And Wanting You Dead.

Anonymous Has Prayed On Peoples Willingness To Help Others. And Most Of Them Are Kids Who Don't Understand What They Are Doing Can Fuck Up There Lives And The IRC Wont Help Them.

I Could Put More But I Don't See The Point.

A Message To The Governments:

If You Hate Anon, Don't Arrest The Kids. Arrest The Leaders. Without Them Everything Will Fall To Shit. All The Recruitment Will Stop And Then The People Will Start To Think And Understand That Anon Is Not Helping Anyone.

A Message To The Leaders Of Anon:

Fuck You Can't Wait Till You All Get Arrested :D

And If One Anon Sees The Truth Every Week Then Your Time Is Running Out

A Message To The Anon's:

Quit While You Still Can, You Are Not Helping Anyone And You Need To Think About The Long Run. Some Thinking Now Can Save You Some Large Legal Bills Later. And Yes I Will Be There When You Get  Out Of Court To Say: I Told You So. There Are Other Ways To Help People, Just Don't Go To Anon You Are Not Hurting The Governments You Are Hurting Yourselves In The Long Run. And No I Am Not Saying I Agree With What The Governments Are Doing But I Also Do Not Agree With Anon.

You Cant Arrest A Idea But You Can Throw A Kid In Jail And Fuck Up Their Life.

Don't Do The Crime If You Can't Do The Time.

Ps:

I Am Not Saying Everything Anon Has Done Is Pointless Things Like Getting Internet To People When Governments Cut It Off I Support. I Am Just Saying Most Of It Isn't Helping Anyone And Is Just Getting Kids Arrested.

I Would Like to Thank People Like:
@th3j35t3r
@sambowne
@AnonTangoDown
@providesecurity
And Everyone Else Who Has Been Spreading The Truth About Anon.
Thanks

SparkyBlaze

For Proof That I Am Not Trolling:

My Name Is Matthew And I Live In The UK, Manchester And No I Wont Post My Address And Phone Numbers Because I Know I Will Have Pizzas And Prank Calls To My House (That In It's Self Is More Proof That You Are All Kids). If You Want To Know More Then By All Means Dox Me. Remove My Right To Remain Anonymous.

Anonymous Started #Op-Solidarity To Protest Against FBI, MET & Other Agencies

Well known hacker group Anonymous declared Operation Solidarity (#OpSolidarity) to protest against FBI in the US, MET and all other agencies who have arrested freedom fighting Anon's in recent months.

According To the Official Press Release Of Anonymous:-

"This is a message from Anonymous to all Anon's, FBI in the US, MET Police in the UK, and all other agencies who have arrested freedom fighting Anon's in recent months:
To Anon's: While the show of support for all arrested Anonymous and LulzSec members has been great, including all donations to said Anon's legal funds, we feel this is not enough. There is so much more that we, as a whole, can do to further pressure the FBI, MET, and other authorities into releasing, and dropping charges on our fellow freedom fighters. I am here by declaring #OpSolidarity to be in effect as of now. Brain storm with other Anon's to come up with new ways to hit MET, FBI, and other agencies; with the sole purpose of getting them to drop charges against our brothers and sisters. I know each and everyone of you, if you got v&, would want the other Anon's to do the same for you, and show our solidarity to the world. Cyber protesters have been arrested by corrupt government agencies all of the world; this is not okay. Show them, that this is not okay.

To MET, FBI, and other police agencies currently holding suspected Anonymous members in custody:
We, Anonymous, demand the immediate release of the following people: Jake Davis aka "Topiary", Christopher Wayne Cooper aka “Anthrophobic;” Joshua John Covelli aka “Absolem” and “Toxic;” Keith Wilson Downey, Mercedes Renee Haefer, aka “No” and “MMMM;” Donald Husband, aka “Ananon;”  Vincent Charles Kershaw,  aka “Trivette,” “Triv” and “Reaper;” Ethan Miles, James C. Murphy, Drew Alan Phillips, aka “Drew010;” Jeffrey Puglisi, aka “Jeffer,” “Jefferp” and “Ji;” Daniel Sullivan, Tracy Ann Valenzuela, and Christopher Quang Vo. Along with all other persons currently being detained by authorities worldwide for being suspected members of Anonymous. Failure to comply with these demands will result in dramatically increased hostilities against authorities currently holding any members of Anonymous worldwide.

I have been a Hacktivist since the mid 90's, and active within Anon for a few years, and i have never ONCE disclosed my name on any dumps, roots, or site defacements. I have also changed my handle every year or so for the last 10 years. I have done this because i was afraid of getting caught at some point. I disclose my name now for one reason, and one reason alone: I am not afraid anymore. You cannot arrest an idea, nor can you stop one as powerful as the one Anonymous, Anti-Sec, and LulzSec are championing. We are not afraid anymore.

"You are not failures, you have not blown away. You can get what you want, and you are worth having it. Believe in yourself." - Jake Davis aka "Topiary"

Anonymous withdrawn #op-India & the untold story of this operation.

The fledgling Indian operation of hacker group Anonymous attacked the website of the Indian army on Friday, but reversed its decision after it ran into criticism from Indian supporters who were annoyed that the Indian army was targeted.
Later on Friday, the hacker group said in a Twitter message that the Indian army site was now working fine. The new consensus appears to be not to target government websites, but only those of corrupt politicians. Anonymous has made common cause in India with an anti-corruption movement in the country. It hacked earlier this week the website of the National Informatics Center (NIC), an IT planning and services organization of the Indian government. On Anonymous' Operation India page on Facebook, it was criticized on Friday by a number of users after it announced that it had hacked the Indian army's site. "I won't support hacking the page of Indian Army. SAD," said one Facebook user. "Why indian army? what do they have to do with this? this is not Pakistan," said another user. Later on Friday, the Indian operation of Anonymous said on Facebook and Twitter that from now on it would target only corrupt politicians. "Operation India Anonymous Feel that we should not Target any site without getting your opinions," it said on Facebook. On Twitter, the group said that they were Indians, and "dont want to harm our own property." Anonymous said earlier in the day that the attack on the Indian army site had not led to any loss of data for the army, but was just meant to send a message to the Indian government about corruption. It also posted videos of its demands on YouTube. The hacker group also claimed to have attacked the NIC site again on Friday. The part of the website that was hacked earlier in the week is still "under maintenance." The NIC hosts a number of Indian government sites. Late Thursday, Anonymous said it had launched a DDoS (distributed denial of service) attack on Turkish government websites in protest against a new Internet filter system that is to be introduced in August. The website of a Turkish telecommunications authority was not accessible.
Some Untold Facts and the reality of #op-India:-
In reality Anonymous never start #op-India, because Anonymous don't hit democratic countries, media and so on.It was a few Indian guy (for some reason I am not publishing their names, but I believe that you all know them) who started this mission by using the name of Anonymous. They did this for their personal profit, not for the noble cause which they ware pretending to say. In short time that guys just fool some innocent Indians, they played with the soft corner and miss use the sympathy of common peoples. In short the #op-india was totally fake, and was created for personal profit. Now due to huge pressure they were forced to close that fake mission. I am proud to say that VOGH was among them who protest those crooks who did this thing. They just violated the media, GOV and more importantly they tricks with the emotion of common Indians. We strongly earge to Indian GOV that those rascals should be fucked up.

DSH is Taking Anonymous More Seriously & Issued A Security Bulletin To Warn About The Upcoming Cyber Threats

The Department of Homeland Security is beginning to take Anonymous and other non-professional cyber-attackers more seriously as it issues a warning about potential attacks.
The United States Department of Homeland Security warned the security community about potential attacks from hacking collective Anonymous over the next few months. The Sept. 2 security bulletin from the DHS National Cyber-Security and Communications Integration Center warned financial services companies to be on the lookout for attackers operating under the Anonymous umbrella to "solicit ideologically dissatisfied, sympathetic employees" to the cause. The collective recently took to Twitter to persuade employees within the financial sector to hand over information and access to enterprise networks. Though such attempts may have been unsuccessful so far, "unwilling coercion through embarrassment or blackmail may be a risk to personnel," the DHS bulletin warned.
DHS issued the bulletin primarily for cyber-security professionals and staff in charge of protecting critical infrastructure. The bulletin also refer to new tools that Anonymous may be using in launching future attacks. Anonymous has been primarily using the Low Orbit Ion Cannon, a fairly simple testing software that can ping a server repeatedly, to launch its distributed denial of service attacks. Some of the members have been working on a new DDoS tool, based on JavaScript,  dubbed #RefRef.

The new attack tool is said to be capable of using the server's own resources and processing power to launch a denial of service attack against itself, but "so far it's unclear what the true capabilities of #RefRef are," the DHS said in the bulletin. The tool is slated to be released Sept. 17.
DHS also referenced the "Apache Killer" Perl script that can be used to launch denial of service attacks against Web servers running the popular Apache software. Apache developers released a patch earlier this week to fix the vulnerability in Apache 2.2. Administrators have been urged to patch their servers immediately.

The DHS also mentioned three cyber-attacks and civil protests Anonymous has already announced. "Occupy Wall Street" is the first scheduled one, for Sept. 17. Announced by a group Adbusters in July and actively supported by Anonymous, the goal is to get 20,000 individuals to gather on Wall Street to protest various U.S. government policies. Similar rallies targeting financial districts are being planned in Madrid, Milan, London, Paris and San Francisco.
Another protest in October, also led by Adbusters, is scheduled to be held at the Washington, D.C. National Mall to mark the 10th anniversary of the war in Afghanistan. There is also the supposed Nov. 11 attack against Facebook and Project Mayhem, scheduled for Dec. 21, 2012, DHS warned. There are indications that Project Mayhem would be a combination of physical disruption and targeting of information systems.

The bulletin itself is unusual in that DHS hasn't commented on the activities of Anonymous ever since the group stepped up its efforts over the past few months, attacking federal agencies and private corporations to protest a wide range of issues. As anyone following the security space undoubtedly knows, there have been at least one or two attacks by Anonymous, even more, each week for the past few months, so the bulletin may be just stating the obvious when warning of future potential attacks.
"Anonymous has shown through recently reported incidents that it has members who have relatively more advanced technical capabilities who can also marshal large numbers of willing, but less technical, participants for DDOS activities," the DHS said.

Anonymous to target Iran with DoS attack

Anonymous says its next target is Iran.
The hacker group Anonymous has its next denial-of-service (DoS) target in sight: Iran, CNET has learned.
Members of the loosely organized group are planning "Operation Iran," an attack designed to shut down Iranian Web sites beginning Sunday, according to their latest online proclamation. May 1 is International Worker's Day.
"The people of Iran have the admiration of Anonymous, and the entire world," the statement says. "We can see that Iran still suffers at the hands of those in power. Your former government has seized control, and tries to silence you. People of Iran--your rights belong to you."
The operation seemed to already have begun late today with Web page defacements ostensibly targeted at Iranian hackers. Anonymous left messages on several Web sites that had allegedly been previously attacked by the Iranian Cyber Army, including the site of a Canadian information systems firm and the site of a Ukrainian dancing group, according to an observer on an Anonymous Internet Relay Chat channel that members use to coordinate their operations.
Anonymous is known for its renegade cyberattacks in defense of perceived underdogs or to support freedom of expression or other anti-establishment causes. In defense of whistle-blowing site WikiLeaks, the group targeted PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, and other companies late last year that had stopped enabling WikiLeaks to receive contributions.
Earlier this month, Anonymous targeted Sony in protest of the company's treatment of Sony PlayStation hacker George Hotz. Hotz and Sony have since settled the lawsuit Sony filed, and Anonymous has denied any involvement in a recent serious breach that exposed information of millions of Sony PlayStation Network customers.
Other Anonymous targets have been: Broadcast Music Inc., the Church of Scientology; the governments of Egypt, Iran, and Sweden; the Westboro Baptist Church; conservative activist billionaires Charles and David Koch and their companies; as well as security firm HBGary Federal, which had reportedly been working with the FBI to identify the leaders of Anonymous.
