NDTV Under Cyber Attack From BCA (Cyber-War Continues) 
Cyber-War between Bangladesh and India continues. Hackers from bd mainly Bangladesh Cyber Army still targeting Indian cyber space. Earlier in our report we have covered the output of this cyberwar. Still if you do summary you will find that more than 10K websites from both India & Bangladesh get effected in this ongoing war. Among them there are many high value sites, Govt sites, media and many more. Even bd hackers launched attack on National Informatics Center (NIC), Indian Railways, Passport Dept, MIT and many more. Hackers claimed that they are continuously attacking Indian cyber fence to stand against injustice and oppression. This time the victim was a high-profile website, which is the official site of NDTV- a well known media. The NDTV server suffered from DNS failure. According to BCA The attack was done by the admin of Bangladesh Cyber Army named Bedu33n along with other members of BCA.
 
The above screen shot of submitted by BCA to prove the attack. This not the 1st time in the previous attack NTDV website suffers from massive denial of service attack. Also BCA released a You Tube video to send a message to Indian Govt. In their press release BCA said:-
 
"Indian hackers have hacked a number of our Government sites.
We know that the security of the sites are very weak, but we cannot allow them to hack these at any cost.
We have been forced to act back, we had no other way with our backs against the wall.
Under these circumstances, Indians have to agree to all the points as below, no matter what-
1. Stop hacking Bangladeshi websites and stop all types of access to Bangladeshi Cyber Space completely...
2. Stop killing innocent Bangladeshi citizens at BD-India borders...
3. Stop Tipaimukh Dam...
4. Sign the "Teesta Water Sharing Treaty"...
5.Either stop broadcasting of Indian Media in Bangladesh or let Bangladeshi Media enter India...
6. Stop all Anti-Bangladesh activities of BSF and punish all offenders for their deeds against Bangladesh...
7. Last but not the least, India has to stop all activities which go against Bangladesh in any possible way...
If these points are not accepted, our next attacks will be much bigger. You might think we are done, but this is just the beginning. Our next targets will be Indian Financial System, Communication System and IT Sector and Stock Exchange and we promise, those sites will be destroyed...."

VOGH Review:-
Being a media its our duty to rise awareness, so after seeing this so called cyber-war we can only see that it is just damaging thousands of websites. In short hackers from both countries are just bringing ruin to their own cyber space. While attacking websites of different countries, either knowingly or UN-knowingly they are just putting their cyber space in risk. Also such cyber-war always make negative reputation for those countries who have engaged the war. So If they do not end war - the war will end them.

We all may be aware of ongoing cyber war between India and Bangladesh. Where thousands of sites get penetrated. Various cyber media from both countries covers the story. In this cyber war Pakistani hackers also contributed in behalf of Bangladesh. In their report both Hackers Media & TSR said the hackers group from India named Indishell officially declared the cyber war and hacked 6 high profile Bangladesh sites & Govt sites. Later in addition they have attacked more than 100 BD govt sites. In counter attack both Bangladesh Cyber Army (BCA) and 3xp1r3 Cyber Army has more than 850 Indian sites. The hackers also hit National Informatics Centre (NIC), NDTV and many other Indian Govt and other important sites. Hackers from Bangladesh (BCA) also performed massive DDoS attack on many Indian Govt sites. In a pastebin release hacker posted those target site list. Later it was the turn of Pakistan. Dangerous hacker from Paksitan named Shadow008 with another hacker named H4x0rL1f3 hacked more than 2K Indian sites. The hackers claimed that the main object was to hit Indian cyber fence & to defend Bangladeshi hackers in this ongoing cyber war. The list of those hacked sites can be found on a pastebin release. Earlier we have seen such cyber war between India & Pakistan, Israel & Saudi Arabia, KHS & German Hackers and so on. But this is the 1st time when India & Bangladesh fought against each other.

Cyber-War 2.0!! Bangladeshi Hackers Again Targeting Indian Cyber Fence 

Last month almost every media was busy while covering the story of Cyber-War between Bangladesh & India. The readers of VOGH get the full coverage of that issue. Earlier attack caused maximum damage (NIC, BSF, Stock Market, Media, Govt Sites, Political Party's Website & many other important & high profile sites) for India because all the attacks are coming from Bangladeshi side. Later hackers from BD stopped the attack and unofficially postponed the cyber-war. In our Magazine we have exposed the untold story of the entire issue. Being a media we did our job to raise awareness and as expected we get maximum support from all the peace lovers from the both countries. 
But now again Bangladesh Cyber Army restarted the so called cyber war, or you can call it Cyber-War 2.0. In your magazine we did maximum criticism of that very issue but it seems BCA either did not have much time to go through that PDF or just continuing the same bull shit stuff for Negative Publicity (The main object of this entire issue). So yet again they have blown more than 55 Indian sites to resend their message to Indian Govt & Indian Hackers Communities.

Bangladesh Stock Market Hacked By Teamgreyhat (Cyber-War 2.0)
Yesterday we have said that hackers from Bangladesh has restarted the cyber-war between India & Bangladesh. So far all the attacks are coming from the Bangladeshi side but here we have seen a complete different scenario. Hacktivist Teamgreyhat suddenly take part into this burning issue and as a result they have blown the official website of Bangladesh Stock Market. The hackers have broke into the Stock Market server, deleted all the files and uploaded their deface page. Also they have breached the complete database of BD Stock Market and make that available for download. Not only stock market but also five other valuable Bangladeshi sites (Business, Corporate & Financial) get hacked in this attack. In the official press release TGH vows to destroy many financial sites of Bangladesh. They have also said that they have make their decision to take part in this Cyber-War 2.0 for India. Earlier BD hackers targeted Indian Stock market while performing DDoS attack & this hack from TGH seems to be the counter attack of that attack. No need of much explanation that such kind of attack on highly valuable site like Stock Market will surely effect the financial & banking sector of Bangladesh.

The Cyber-War between India and Bangladesh is going on and on. But now its became rather one sided and most of the attack is coming from the Bangladeshi side. Recently they have released their second video where they vow to hit Indian Stock Market websites. During peak hour three main sites of Indian stock market was apparently down due to massive denial of service attack from BD hackers. As expected this DDoS attack surely effect the financial & banking sector of India.

The video mentioned the reason to be the killing another of innocent Bangladeshi citizens in the Bangladesh-India border zone yesterday. In the last 3-4 days, a huge number of Indian sites fell victim to hacking attacks of Bangladesh Cyber Army. Two other groups, Bangladesh Black Hat Hackers and 3xp1r3 Cyber Army were also involved in the attacks. Besides, they also have supports from Pakistani hackers which we have already covered. Islami Bank Bangladesh Hacked By Teamgreyhat (Cyber-War 2.0 Continues)
The second phase of Cyber-War or in other word Cyber-War 2.0 is going worse and worse for Bangladesh. Last Saturday hacktivist Teamgreyhat has hacked the Bangladesh Stock Market official website and their they have also vows to destroy the financial sector of Bangladesh. As expected the hackers keep their promise while hacking into another high profile and important Bangladeshi website. Today TGH confirmed that they have hacked into one of the largest Bank of Bangladesh named Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd. After this hack we must have to say that 1st Stock market then Bank, this cyber-war 2.0 is causing lots of damages for Bangladesh. According to TGH press release they have claimed that they have rooted the Bank server and also during this hack the official site of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh get defaced.
The press release contains a message to BCA to stop the cyber-war immediately. Also TGH claimed that they have breached the BD Prime Minister Office(PMO) & BD Parliament Network and gained more than 40 GB sensitive data of BD govt.

After Pak Cyber Army, Seeker & HEX786, Invectus, MrCreepy, Likuid Sky's attack now R0b0t PiraTes another Pakistani Hacker group is doing the counter attack, in other words is taking the revenge of ICA's attack on Pak cyber fence. This group has successfully hacked and defaced more than hundred Indian sites (140+). Again the result of the Cyber War  is clearly showing that Indian Cyber fence is constantly being attacked and penetrated by Pakistani Hackers. NATO Prepared Tallinn Manual -International Law Applicable to Cyber Warfare

NATO finally published the final version of a document expected to shape cyber warfare policies among Western nations was published last week, clarifying when and how countries can legally conduct online aggression against one another. The International law of Cyber Warfare have been  published by the Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE) set up in Estonia, in 2008, the Tallinn Manual on the International Law Applicable to Cyber Warfare. Spanning 215 pages, the Tallinn Manual makes it clear that a full-scale war can be triggered by network-borne attacks on computer systems and that civilian activists that participate in those are considered legitimate targets. However, the manual specifically rules out state-sponsored attacks on critical civilian infrastructure. Nuclear power plants, hospitals, dams and similar are all out of bounds for cyber war, the manual states.

The Tallinn Manual:-
The Tallinn Manual on the International Law Applicable to Cyber Warfare, written at the invitation of the Centre by an independent ‘International Group of Experts’, is the result of a three-year effort to examine how extant international law norms apply to this ‘new’ form of warfare. The Tallinn Manual pays particular attention to the jus ad bellum, the international law governing the resort to force by States as an instrument of their national policy, and the jus in bello, the international law regulating the conduct of armed conflict (also labelled the law of war, the law of armed conflict, or international humanitarian law).  Related bodies of international law, such as the law of State responsibility and the law of the sea, are dealt within the context of these topics.
The Tallinn Manual is not an official document, but instead an expression of opinions of a group of independent experts acting solely in their personal capacity.  It does not represent the views of the Centre, our Sponsoring Nations, or NATO.  It is also not meant to reflect NATO doctrine.  Nor does it reflect the position of any organization or State represented by observers.

Trinamool Congress Official Website Hacked By Bangladesh Black-hat Hackers
All India Trinamool Congress official website get hacked. Hackers from Bangladesh take responsibility of this hack. This attack on the AITMC website is yet another out put of the ongoing cyber war between Bangladesh & India. This ongoing cyber war indeed causing lots of damages for India. Till more than 20K Indian websites get hacked including 30+ Indian Govt Sites, National Informatics Center (NIC), Indian Railways, Passport Dept, MIT, NDTV, Indian Stock Market and many more high profile websites. According to party resources the site was hacked on the 14th February evening and later restored to its original format. The site was hosted on a US server and during this attack the security has been penetrated. Party spokes man also confirmed that the vulnerability has been fixed. MP and party's cyber team head Derek O' Brien said "It was blocked for a few hours but there was no damage to the site. We have lodged a complaint with the cyber cell of the Kolkata Police to get to the bottom of the truth" 
In a statement Bangladesh Black-hat Hackers said that Mamata Banerjee had broken her promise on sharing of Teesta river water with the country. Which effect Bangladesh so they have performed the attack. In short it was a type of revenge.
This is not the first time earlier in 2011 hackers from Pakistan have hacked the official website of All India Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and so on. Also in an attack another Pak Hacker named KhantastiC haXor penetrated the official site of Indian Congress and defaced the Profile page of Party President Sonia Gandhi. Still Indian Govt is very careless about this burning issue. The rise of cyber crime is almost kissing the sky. And the status of Indian cyber security is in the disaster. The very out put is in front of us. Since the last week every day BD hackers penetrating Indian cyber fence very badly which is indeed causing lots of damage for the country not only reputation but also the country has caused lost of economical damage.If such things continues then in very coming future India have to face a massive disaster of National security including defense, army, secrete research areas and in many other sensitive sectors.

Criminals and foreign spy agencies launched more than 1,000 cyber attacks on the Ministry of Defence last year in an effort to steal secrets and disrupt services, Liam Fox has revealed.
In a speech on Tuesday night, the defence secretary laid out the growing threat to the country from cyberspace, saying that government departments were now under sustained attack.
He underlined the problem by saying that "across the core defence networks there were an average of over a million security alerts every day".
These comprise mainly of spam emails that are blocked before entering government computer systems. But many turn out to be deliberate attempts to infiltrate and steal from the MoD's computer systems.
Last week the Guardian revealed that the UK is now developing a cyber weapons programme to give ministers an attacking capability in cyberspace.
It also emerged that the FBI is investigating allegations that the Google mail accounts of senior US government officials have been attacked by Chinese hackers.
In his speech, Fox set out why the government had committed an extra £650m for cyber security in last year's Strategic Defence and Security Review. He also warned more would need to be done to protect the UK's core infrastructure from cyber attack.
"Between 2009 and 2010, security incidents more than doubled," he said: "Was this in Afghanistan? No. This was in cyberspace and the target was the MoD. I and my senior colleagues are routinely alerted to incidents that could have had severe consequences if they'd not been stopped.
"Our systems are targeted by criminals, foreign intelligence services and other malicious actors seeking to exploit our people, corrupt our systems and steal information.

"To give you an idea of the challenge, last year we in the MoD blocked and investigated over 1,000 potentially serious attacks. "
Fox described it as the "war of the invisible enemy" and said the boundaries between government, business and every individual internet user were becoming blurred."This threat is growing in scale and sophistication. My department is a prime target. Across the core defence networks there were an average of over a million security alerts every day."
He said the opening of a new Global Operations and Security and Control Centre would help to coordinate the Whitehall response to cyber attacks, but conceded that government could not do this alone.
"We now see weekly reports of cyber attacks against businesses, institutions and networks used by people going about their daily lives," he said. "The cost to the UK economy of cyber crime is estimated to be in the region of £27bn a year and rising. These are attacks against the whole fabric of our society.
"There is no Maginot Line in cyber space ... our national intellectual property in defence and security industries is at risk from a systematic marauding. Not only could it severely affect the future success of British industry, our economic advantage, and the country's financial recovery, but also directly impacts upon our national security today."
Last week, the US government said it was intending to rewrite its military rule book to make cyber-attacks a possible act of war. In May, the chancellor George Osborne said foreign intelligence agencies were carrying out cyber-attacks on the Treasury, targeting it with programs designed to steal information.
Some experts have warned against government's over-exaggerating the problems in cyberspace, noting that 80 per cent of all such attacks can be thwarted with better computer 'hygiene' – such as people using less obvious passwords.

NSA Refused to Disclose Obama's Secret Cyber Security Directive

The cyber security directive of United States President Barack Obama has been twisted a little as the National Security Agency (NSA) has refused to release details of a secret presidential directive document that would establish a broader set of standards that would guide federal agencies in confronting Cyber threats. Several experts are presuming that the cyber security directive could allow the military and intelligence agencies to operate on the networks of private companies, such as Google and Facebook. According to the last week report by Washington Post, cited several U.S. officials saying that Obama signed off on the secret cyber security order, believed to widely expand NSA’s spying authorities, in mid-October. “The new directive is the most extensive White House effort to date to wrestle with what constitutes an “offensive” and a “defensive” action in the rapidly evolving world of cyber war and cyber terrorism,” the report states.  
The Electronic Privacy and Information Center (EPIC), filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to make the document public because it said the measure could expand NSA’s Cyber security authority. “Transparency is crucial to the public’s ability to monitor the government’s national security efforts and ensure that federal agencies respect privacy rights and comply with their obligations under the Privacy Act,” said EPIC’s request.
EPIC said that NSA denied the request on Nov. 21 arguing that it doesn’t have to release the document because it is a confidential presidential communication and contains information that is classified “Secret” and “Top Secret” by the agency. NSA said disclosure of the order could “reasonably be expected to cause exceptionally grave damage to the national security.” The agency said EPIC could file an appeal with the NSA/Central Security Service denial and EPIC said it plans to do so. The privacy group said it is litigating similar FOIA requests with NSA, including the release of NSPD 54, a 2008 presidential directive setting out the NSA’s cyber security authority. The group called NSA a “black hole for public information about cyber security” in an official statement to Congress earlier this year. National Security Agency whistle blower William Binney said in Mid July that the U.S. government is secretly gathering information “about virtually every U.S. citizen in the country”, in “a very dangerous process” that violates Americans’ privacy.
Former President George W. Bush signed a presidential order in 2002 allowing the National Security Agency (NSA) to monitor without a warrant the international (and sometimes domestic) telephone calls and e-mail messages of hundreds or thousands of citizens and legal residents inside the United States. The program eventually came to include some purely internal controls -- but no requirement that warrants be obtained from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court as the 4th Amendment to the Constitution and the foreign intelligence surveillance laws require.

Germany Launches Cyber Defense Center

Germany is the latest country to build itself its very own cyber-defense center to build a strategy to defend against cyber-warfare, a hot issue this year. The National Cyber-Defense Center is located in Bonn at the Federal Office for Information Security building. For now, it had ten permanent employees with the German Federal Police, Federal Intelligence Service and Armed Forces to join the effort in the coming months. The Interior ministry said it recorded a record number of attempted cyber attacks last year, nearly double the number of attempts in 2009.

"At the heart of cyber-security is the protection of critical infrastructures," said Federal Interior Minister Friedrich. "Stuxnet and the most recent example of the hacker attack on the French nuclear company EDF (Electricité de France) have shown that IT systems represent critical infrastructure in the context of cyber-attacks."

230 Websites Of India including Important, Some Government Undertaking And Private Companies Websites Hacked and defaced by XtReMiSt of Muslim Liberation Army (MLA). Couple of hours before Cybercell Mumbai was hacked and we have earlier said that Pakistani hackers are claiming that they have declared Cyber-War. So this attack of MLA emphasize the war. In short again The Cyber-War is on.

Greece Under Cyber-Attack, Ministry & Telecom Service Provider Hacked  By KHS

Now a days Greece is facing several cyber attacks, first it was hacker collective Anonymous who carried denial of service attack on Greece Ministry to bring down Ministry of Justice. Now another infamous hacker group named Kosova Hacker Security (KHS) engaged massive cyber attack on Greek fence. This attack also dubbed "Operation Greek" which causes serious damage for Greek Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religion, OTE- Greek Telecom Service and so on. The hack on OTE exposed more than 10K user credentials along with the Admin details. All the hacked databases can be found on the official forum of KHS named Cyber-Hell. According to KHS this attack is a counter attack or in other word tit for tat of Greek hackers who hacked few Albanian websites. KHS also vows to engage cyber-war while saying "if Greece don't stop their activity then they will see the worst day in the Internet..."
Earlier this group has carried several cyber attack on Ukraine, Israel and so on.

Several Bangladeshi Govt Sites Along With Uninor Bangladesh & Few College Sites Hacked By Sen Haxor

After a long time yet again Bangladeshi cyber fence is facing cyber attacks from India. This time a young Indian hacker named Sen Haxor targeted several high profile Bangladeshi websites. Among them there are four Bangladeshi Govt sites which have fallen victim to this cyber attack. Those sites are National Mushroom Development & Extension Centre, Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC), Govt. Bangla College & Rangpur Zonal Settelment Official Web-portal. Not only Govt website, also the hacker hit  the official website of many Bangladeshi Colleges and defaced the index page. Those colleges are Comilla Victoria Govt. College, Shaikh Burhanuddin Post Graduate College, Ashuganj Sar Karkhana College, CHITTAGONG MODEL SCHOOL & COLLEGE, Birganj College & Panchbari Mahabiddyalay. The story is not over yet, in this phase of cyber attack also penetrated Uninor Bangladesh GPCIC. In a pastebin note the hacker has released the full database, including usernames, password hash & other several login credentials. Though the reason of this hack is not relevant but still in the deface page the hacker represented this hack as a payback of the last Indo-BD cyber war which took place in February this year.

Uninor Pakistan (telenor) Hacked By Indian Cyber Force (ICF)

Uninor of Pakistan named telenor get hacked by Indian Cyber Force (ICF), a hackers group from India. They have hacked in to the admin panel adn also dumped the database. ICF exposed the admin credentials, user-name, email-id, password. Also the they leaked the domains information hosted on that server.  Previously Indian hackers also targeted another Pakistani telecom com company named WorldCall Telecom Limited. Both its site and DB get compromised by Indian hackers. And now the victim is telenor. It seems that Pak telecom is really under cyber attack also this attack will enhance the cyber-war between two countries.

"INDIAN CYBER FORCE took revenge for India as Sen hacker hacked telnor today to restart the cyberwar. This is done as payback for all Pakistan hackers hacking Indian websites. The hacker strongly warns the Pakistan hackers not to abuse Indian culture and god in their deface pages. He says that the consequences will be very bad. Its seem that there are many other website host on the same server,About 398 domains hosted on the same web server as Telenor website. The hacker dumped all the data. And the proof of the hacked admin account has been given..."

Its just going on and on. Yes I am talking about the currently running cyber war between India and Pakistan. This time it started just after the Indishell's attack on the Pak Cyber Fence twice. In counter attack many Pakistani hackers has hacked lost of Indian sites. Among them there was Seeker & HEX786, Invectus, MrCreepy, Likuid Sky and so on. Yet the game is not over. Now its Pakistan Cyber Army's turn and this hurts the Indian cyber fence very strongly.Two dangerous hacker from Pakistan named Shadow008 & KhantastiC HaXor has hacked and defaced Thousands of Indian websites. Among those there ware five Govt sites, 25+ Educational (Edu) sites, 12+ Security forums and many more important Indian sites.
